The B.Com curriculum is quite relevant as it provides a solid foundation in business, accounting, and finance, with increasing focus on modern skills like data analytics in some programs. However, it may lack emphasis on emerging technologies. In terms of comprehensiveness, it covers a wide range of topics but may miss advanced or specialized subjects depending on the institution. The course curriculum is pretty much helpful in our daily life as well as for our future development. When I came to college I was worried what would happen with our communication and other skills development but now coming into college I am assured and happy that does college takes proper care of other skill development of students as well. Student studies different skill enhancement as well as value addition courses throughout their 7 semesters in the college. Students learn many new things due to these new additional subjects which are taken by the new education policy 2020.

From 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited in this college are E&Y ,L&T, Mahindra,RBS and ICICI bank. Highest package of shyamlal college 6 lakhs per annum. 50 percent students got placements.

I have done bachelor in Economics. The course is very good and it contains all the important points like Gdp , money and its components, and principles of micro and macroeconomics. All the points about Indian and western economies. The main problem with this course is that it is more theoretically based as compared to practical knowledge, this is the area where it has to improve.The timing of exam is the best thing in Delhi University, there are two times in a year exams take place ( 2 semesters in 1 year ).

Course of bachelor in arts although is not a specialised course but allows an individual to build his carrer in multiple fields by completing master degree. The course difficulty lies in moderate category and good guidance from teachers, you can nail it very easily. SLC curriculum is same as DU curriculum as it is a DU college. Faculty is all highly qualified and knowledgeable. Lectures were serious and faculty poured in all their knowledge into students. Toppers in science subject used to come from SLC. Moreover, teachers knew all students by their name and would care for them, If they were studying well or not

Inour college everyyear different companies come for hiring employees and there is also placement cell which trained the students and also many different intership programmes held in college to increase your knowledge and average pakage is 4 lakhs and heightest 12,000 pr annum

I want to prepare for UPSC so I opt for Ba which will help me to get bachelor degree and dont get in the way of my real goal. Faculty of the college is helpful always watch over students. Every 6 months end sem exam happens.

Placements are not good as there is no technical course here but the environment is very good as the course is focused toward goverment job opportunities there are very less companies and offers a limited opportunities the companies are usually less know or startups that need cheap labour the highesh package from here is of 3.5 lakhs per annum and the average package is of 2 lakhs there is a very little like 20% of students get placed as maximum are preparing for goverment jobs even my plan after getting my degree is to prepare for govt exams like ssc etc

As I needed to pursue ca I needed a degree for that and bcom and CA are somehow related. The faculty for the same is very good and they treat students as their own children. All the faculty have done Ph.D. in their field. There we have semester exams and the difficulty criteria for the same is not so difficult.
