Sun International Institute for Tourism and Management (SIITAM), Hyderabad is currently accepting admission for both UG and PG courses. SIITAM offers courses in UG and PG courses in the field of Tourism and Management. The courses offered include BBA, BHM, Diploma in Hotel Management (DHM), MBA, PGDHM and five-year integrated course in Hotel Management. The institute is spread over two campuses viz. Hyderabad and Vishakhapatnam.

SIITAM Hyderabad Admission Highlights 2024

SIITAM offers multiple UG courses. The basic eligibility criteria for entry into any of the courses listed under UG programs are 10+2/PUC/equivalent in any stream. Degree holders are also eligible to apply.

There are 4 specializations that candidates can choose from for the BBA course. The minimum duration for obtaining a BBA or BHM degree is 3 years. The DHM course, however, requires the candidate to study for 2 years (segregated into 4 semesters) only.

The selection of candidates is based on merit, i.e. marks obtained by the candidate in the last qualifying exam.

Key points:

• Candidates enrolled in BHM and DHM courses undergo in-house training until the second last semester and are sent to 5-star deluxe hotels for training purposes during the last semester. 
• DHM students are awarded a two-year Diploma from a renowned university after the successful completion of the course.
• For the BHM course, students are eligible for a 24-day Industrial Training program.
• Students pursuing the 5-year Integrated Course will have a free industrial tour to Singapore and/or Malaysia.

The institute offers MBA courses in various disciplines including a Post-Graduate Diploma course under its PG program. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to a PG course offered by SIITAM is a graduate degree in any discipline from a UG recognized university.

SIITAM offers 3 dual specialization MBA courses in Business Studies and two other MBA program in Tourism & Hotel Management and Shipping & Logistics Management. While the MBA courses are 2 years (four semesters) in duration, the PGDHM course is only for one and a half years. 

The institute selects candidates for admission to any of the courses listed under the PG program on the basis of merit.

Key points:

• Students in the last semester of the MBA- Tourism & Hotel Management and PGDHM program are sent to 5-star deluxe hotels for training purposes (stipend offered).
• MBA (Business Studies) students are eligible for industrial and on-the-job training programs offered by the institute.
• MBA students are offered placement (subject to meeting the pre-requisites set by the institute) during their third semester.
