I chose BAMS without even knowing anything about it. At first, I didn't want to take this course as I knew nothing about it. There was a 15day orientation programme at the beginning of the course where all the faculties interacted with the freshers and gave us an idea about the college and course after which I started to like the course. Now I am doing final year and I really love BAMS. It is much better than Modern medicine as many diseases can be cured without surgery. I have seen many patients who got admitted to our hospital because they didnt want to undergo surgery and took ayurvedic medicine and got much better relief. One thing I am worried about is the life after completion of the course. It is hard to get a good salary immediately after BAMS.

The course is actually a good one with variety of opportunities but the hard part would obviously be learning Sanskrit slokas which for people like me with no previous experience in Sanskrit is tough at the start but I believe it can be reduced gradually

After the course, if we wish we can join the hospital as Medical Officer. As this is a medical course , no campus placements are there . yet some exams will be conducted by the famous institutions like KAPL ,and if we qualify that we can join there only after completing the House surgency .

Main reason I took this college is because while I was searching for the best Ayurveda college in kerala during the admission time. It seems like our college comes at the first position among the aided college list that tempted me to opt this college in the first position Speciality of this college is its location is about 25km away from Trivandam central, which gives a calm and quite atmosphere. Also have a greeny campus atmosphere. And the college faculty is simply amazing, they give full support for our academical as well as cultural talents.

I choose the college bcoz it's the first ever ayurveda college in Kerala with experienced and dignified facilities in the field of ayurveda. It's the most opted center for ayurveda treatment by keralaites, people from other states of India and even by other nationalities.

Eligibility: 10+2 from recognized board with science stream and a minimum of 50 per cent marks. A valid score in qualifying exam like NEET. Admission form is available online. Fill and submit the form with required documents. Admission will be granted on the basis of scores obtained in NEET.
