Alternative medicine something you should have a look at

It's very peaceful over there trees and got place to walk slight breeze very relaxing campus atmosphere
Even though the building are small comparatively don't be fooled they got everything required nothing is missing
Kinda Old timey campus if you're into nostalgia stuff and teachers are very qualified..

Dislikes

Could've been bigger kind of looks smaller
College Ground is not good very small and not like maintained you legs are gonna hurt if you run on bare foot there is no grass at all
This one is personal not much boys in batches there'll be like 15 boys and that's a problem if you're into team sports I can't find anyone to play cricket with

It's 4 year course and after 4 years there will be one year compulsory internship aspart of curriculum in college hospital itself only after that student will be eligible for campus placements. you'll have opportunities at Homoeopathic pharmaceuticals mainly and companies like SBL , Hanhemanns , Powell laboratories they offer decent package to 8lpa as I heard from a friend.And NHCs take doctors contract based for like 2 years contracts they pay around 35-40k a month and there is job of medical officer at government 55k a month then now there are much jobs under AYUSH since it's not a globally accepted medical system you might have to look into countries approval incase you want to go abroad in future for work.

The hill view campus

Likes

I liked mostly the college campus environment and the things around the college.a beautiful neat and clean college I have ever seen
Classrooms and everything is good. there are smart class rooms from 1st year to final year students.providing good internship facilities
Teaching method is based on our new syllabus but it is little bit difficult to study

Dislikes

Sometimes I doesn't like the canteen food

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of our academic year is entirely different because it is based on cbdc that means a competency-based dynamic curriculum. we should know everything about homoeopathy or any other medical course that we are studying otherwise we couldn't practice by ourselves but the teachers simply understand us as much as they can ..they provide us a good teaching surroundings based on the curriculum

Padiyar College, A college with more than 100 years of rich History.

Likes

Padiyar college is a college established more than 100 years ago and the heritage is still continued
All the faculties in the college have PG qualifications and are good instructors
The medical college hospital is one of the most famous hospital in the district and has a lot of patients visiting everyday, thus providing first hand experience to students in dealing with different kind of disease conditions.

Dislikes

The location of the college, Chottanikkara although a temple town lacks certain necessary shoping and recreational facilities.
The year after i joined the strength of the batch has been increased from 50 to 63 leading to classes being a little cramped

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of study is 4.5 years of studies and 1 year of mandatory internship at the College Hospital. BHMS although hard to study has been a very successful course after completetion and is easy to get a good paying job after completetion. Semester exams are conducted every 4 months and a model exam every year before the yearly university Exams. Supplementary exams arew conducted for students who fail the yearly universitiy exams every 6 months. Only downside I felt in the curriculum is the slight lack of clinical hours which can help mold the students to prepare for the real world.

Remarks:

As far as I am concerned I have a great experience in my college during my course. The management and Administrative Officers are best for us. Our Principal was great personality and helped us in many occasions.

Positive A strict college by discipline but provides all the necessary needs and enjoyment. That is discipline is very very important. Even though college provides speacial days for our enjoyment,and also college provides all the necessary things that we need in studies
