Course Curriculum Overview
I didn't choose this course on purpose actually.I kinda fell into it after taking neet drops for 2 years.I even never believed in homeopathy before I joined here and now it make sense. Curriculum is hard to study if you don't take it seriously.First year Homeo pharmacy,Physiology including biochemistry and homoeopathic materia medica for first semester and anatomy, organon of medicine and homoeopathic philosophy for second sem. It's a 8 semester program and 1st year is 1½ years 2,3,4 year 1 year each and includes one year compulsory internship program curriculum is now relatively new syllabus so it's kinda hard right now but if you're willing to study daily and revise properly it's not going to be much still you'll have enough time to enjoy campus life.but it'll be hard to side hustle a part time job since it's a full day course. Curriculum is pretty tight there's a lot to study in a small amount of time so you'll have to stay dedicated. It does prepare you for real world experience still if you could opt conventional medicine it'll be much better since it provides much everything..
Internships Opportunities
College itself has an hospital for one year compulsory internship of the course and they're are research opportunities from second year itself nationwide ones aswell as college level once you can publish your research it national magazines it'll be something you could keep in your resume and it offers decent money to.If i recall correctly my friend recieved 25k a month for 2 years on his research on diabetes in elderly men.when his research was approved by ayush .
Placement Experience
It's 4 year course and after 4 years there will be one year compulsory internship aspart of curriculum in college hospital itself only after that student will be eligible for campus placements. you'll have opportunities at Homoeopathic pharmaceuticals mainly and companies like SBL , Hanhemanns , Powell laboratories they offer decent package to 8lpa as I heard from a friend. And NHCs take doctors contract based for like 2 years contracts they pay around 35-40k a month and there is job of medical officer at government 55k a month then now there are much jobs under AYUSH since it's not a globally accepted medical system you might have to look into countries approval incase you want to go abroad in future for work.
Fees and Financial Aid
•Yearly tution fee is about 1260.Then there will be small PTA fund and Sports fund,.. So it'll be around less than 2500.Hostel is 12000 per year but I'm a day scholar. And mess fees is 1500 a month.Hostel is right in the middle of township it's not a metro city but it's okay I guess.college hospital Gets a lot of patients. I'm OBC and I got admission via state counselling I didn't had to pay much 1260 tution fee No admission fees Development fees 200 Lab fee 500 PTA fund 500 But still the thing is you'll have to get books and stuff so it'll be around 2500-4000 for books you need to get lab coat and all.SC and ST students doesn't have to pay tution fees or any fees.Usual scholership programs are there Girl child Scholership,Muslim Scholership,SC And ST scholership college will assist you through it office staffs are very friendly..
Campus Life
Infrastructure is small actually but they still have everything but still feels claustrophobic like you don't have enough room to stretch your legs not literally ofcourse. The ground could've been better area could've been better rightnow it feels a little small for a college but it does make sense they only do BHMS so why bother but if you've seen other colleges with different courses and stuff it feels small.and amount of boys who takes this course is small comparing to girls which obviously means less fun to hangout with or incase if team sports intercollege which was a big thing for me since I love cricket.everything else is pretty much universal..campus is at a quiet place so you'll have peace of mind atleast
Admission
This college was not definitely not my first choice.Nothing against the college it's the course.I wanted to study Veterinary but didn't had enough score didn't wanted to take another drop since I was tired and fed up inside so I thought yeah it's time I go to college it might sound an easy way out but I don't expect anyone to understand that I'm tired. so yeah I got rejection form vet schools because there is only 2 in my state and its now like a Trending course every one wants so I thought I'll adjust with BHMS since it also has physiology it's my favourite subject. In order to get admission here you'll have to write neet and come under atleast 150k if you're OBC and 120k for general 250k for SC 400K if you're ST. Apart AIQ there will be Kerala State counselling for Keralites you don't have to write any exam since it's also from neet but you'll have to apply keam of Kerala and your 15k will be safe for general 17k for MU 18K SC 35k ST 45K ,...apart from this there is a management quota you'll have to apply through AFRC for it.Tution fees will be the same but there will be a small management fees.
Faculty
Teacher student ratio is about 1:15.almsot all Faculties are experienced like 20 years minimum 15 years experienced even that after they're PGs.So there is no worries of faculties. Very Professional and Approachable. Actually there is no reason to dislike any faculties in academics as they're all qualified individuals and been doing this job even before I was born. But some can be little cranky so you should just read the room and everything will be alright.I don't name anyone as people I don't like it'll be different for different people. But my favourite faculty is a non teaching faculty helped Prameela Helped me through admission procedures and through
