The B.com course is nice course to do after 12th pass. Most of 12th commerce pass student choose this option. Students who want to do C.A. they also do b.com as degree. B.com course is not too much expensive.

Som lalit college of commerce is affiliated with Gujarat University. Gujarat University have amazing, knowledgeable commerce syllabus which helps in building the knowledge of Commerce overall. The faculty of Som Lalit college of commerce is very much experienced. They know their subjects very well. They are always ready to help students and guide them well. They have always shown interest in teaching which helps motivate the students. It is amazing atmosphere they create that helps students get practical ideas about every subject. Course is completed by faculty before a month of exams which helps students prepare for it easily in the given time.

I was pursuing CA back then and therefore wanted to enroll in a college where the faculties didn't hassled much into the attendance of the students. The faculties were highly qualified. Most of them help a Phd. in their own subject of teaching. The exams were based on the semester basis and curriculum and time table for them same was communicated before hand.

This course is widely choosen by students of commerce background, who are not that good in studies or are doing some other course simultaneously, and I am also doing preparation for a competitive exam so I took admission to this course. About Faculty: The student ratio of the faculties are less than the students but there are very few students who go to college regularly so the ratio is maintained.

The placement facility was not good in our college we have to go to the companies for applying for the placements and then we got selected for the placement. So the placement facility was not good in our collage.

I have choose bcom course and i want to go ahead in accounting so i decided bcom and this college have designed full syllabs as par University creteria with full balance of partical as well as theory subject and college giving education by considering partical use of knowledge in life so it become very useful.

I chose this course as it is related to accounting, and I am fond of Accountancy. Our college has at least ten teachers for the batch of 600 students. We have 4 exams every year, they aren't that difficult to pass.

I choose B.Com. because I am interested in doing business. Som Lalit college of commerce faculty is so good, very well experienced faculty in our college and their study method is very easy and smart. The faculty qualification is B.com, M.Com, Ph.D., and also have a chartered accountant.

From the 5th semester the students become eligible for campus placement And I have visited 5 to 6 companies and made an offer to 3 of them, the highest package goes around 30 to 35000 and the average is 20000, the ratio of placement is 60% and my plan is to do master after B. Com

Somlalit college is a self financed college so fees here is a bit higher as compared to other government gujarat university colleges,but by giving more fees we get more benefits as there would be no need to join any personal tution classes and the support staff will support you greatly,you dont need to worry about any university form or degree form they will fill on behalf of you,you just have to check and sign the form.Another great thing is there is not more strictness regarding attendance criteria so the students who are actually willing to study will only attend the college,noone would forcibly attend the college.It is also beneficial to the student pursuing CA,CS or CMA program as they can easily pursue there professional courses without worrying more about college.They will also get regular updates of the college through sms or email.The college also undergoes placement process and very well known companies participate in placement process like adani energy,kpmg,delloite,etc.The coin has always two sides if there will be pros than some cons will definitely be there.The college has more about pros,but some cons are still there1.The main problem with the college is the college does not have playground and also does not have a place for extra curricular activities.2. There is a problem with the parking of college even the 2 wheeler are parked very badly,4 wheeler are not allowed for students to bring into the campus.3. There is a bit of politics but it is a bit common in every college.4. The college fees are higher as compared to other self financed college.Admission process:Somlalit is governed under gujarat university,so all the admission are undergone through gujarat university.In the portal of gujarat university students have to select preference of colleges and on the basis of merit and preference selected by the students colleges are alloted.Reason for preferring college over others:Firstly the college is governed under gujarat university so it creates a plus point as well i am a CA student so,i wanted a college in which i can easily pursue the course and is not clashed with my articleship,so as the college is of morning shift it creates a great plus point.I was being referred by one of my senior in the college who told me that the college is best for ca students and was actually having all the sets of things a student wants.
