The faculties are really great. They all are industry experts, have given their services to various big corporates in Banking and Finance.

Faculties are really wonderful. They are being always helpful & kind towards the student be it in any aspect of the course. Few of the brilliant faculties here at NIBM are Dr Arindam Bandyopadhyay (faculty of Risk Management), Dr Jiji Mathews (Economics), Dr Sanjay Basu (Market Risk), Dr Tasneem Chherawala (Financial Derivatives) & many more. About the exams, we have tri-semester pattern. Exams are conducted in the mid term as well as end term. So we have to appear for 12 exams over the 2 years. Exams are of moderate level. Some of them at times might become tough but overall on moderate level only.

The course curriculum is very hectic as compared to other PGDM courses and along with it there are project works to be done whoch helps in getting the industry picture for further career enhancement.

Learning and great experience

We have 3 lectures per day. The faculty are quite rich in knowledge and experience and have industry experience as well. A number of guest lecturers from industry are also invited from time to time. The faculty are mostly mid aged and quite experienced. The college is well known for risk management in the banking sector.

Best college for interest in Finance

The best faculties in the banking industry teach in NIBM. Many faculties have industry experience and many are consultants to consultancy projects of Reserve Bank of India, National Housing Board, many Public Sector Banks. They are a part of various committees as well.

One of the best colleges for PGDM in Banking & Finance

The faculty staff are themselves experts in their relevant fields like Treasury, Risk Management, Bank Lending, Marketing, Mergers & Acquisitions, etc. Each faculty uses different methodologies to teach the subjects according to the needs of that particular subject.

I would say every faculty has expertise in their respective subjects. Nibm has a trimester system where multiple subjects can make one learn different knowledgable contents and immense exposure is also a common feature to behold. One can become a proficient manager after being a part of Nibm.

Quality of course content and practical relevance

Absolutely old and lack the energy and enthusiasm to teach. Very opinionated and corrupted to a large extent. They don't even change the pattern and the question paper each year and students never learn anything new because nothing new and out of the box is ever encouraged. The atmosphere is downright depressing and I'd suggest no-one to ever step into this farce of an institute.
