Poor research culture, very few opportunities to do good research
High patient load and small batch size makes internship very tiring and hectic compared to other colleges

Faculty:

Faculty to student ratio is good since batch size is 80-100. Like all colleges, some faculty are good and some are not. In first year, the biochemistry department and Dr Mohit sir is very supportive for research. In second year, pathology department is very supportive for learning and exams. Microbiology department especially Dr Ubale sir is very good for pursuing research. In third year ophthalmology department is very thorough and good with teaching especially Dr Barot sir who is the Dean. In final year Medicine department is very supportive for learning and research, especially Dr Prasita Ma’am and Dr Deepa Ma’am . Pediatrics department especially Dr Junagade sir is very good for learning clinics. Exams are semester exams and final university exams. Semester exams are easy and we are given chances to clear the exam if we fail. University exams are set by the state university. If we fail, we give the supplementary exams. If we fail to clear that, we are held back for a year

Faculty to students ratio is 1 faculty per 10 students Approach to teaching is discussion based no biased Daily nd all the time we have to interact with teachers Teachers are very friendly to approach and easy to interact with .

Life at RGMC

The faculty members have assembled from highly prestigious institutes of the state and the management of a hundred students is done in a fairly decent way by dividing them into 4 groups of 25 students each and hence increasing the chances to communicate with them with more efficiency . Besides , approaching the teachers is quite easy and they're eager to help

The academic department is cooperative to the students
Same classroom so individual attention is paid to each student
The cadavers can be studied properly because of division among less number of students in each group

Each faculty gets about 25 students during the practicals.the facilities are mostly certified medical professionals with a lot of experience.the approch ability to the teachers is pretty high they help you a lot.

Interaction between the faculty and student is really great as number of student is less and faculty are also very supportive especially Dr. Sachin sir from physiology department

Best thing of this college is faculty to students ratio it is really great and all the faculty are very supportive in nature and highly experienced in thier particular teaching subject. Their no restrictions for student to go to the department and meet any faculty even you can directly approach to the HOD without any hesitation.

Abode of Training

The faculty is really good, and the bond shared with teachers over time will be memorable.

The faculty-student ratio falls in the best category, and teachers do provide individual attention. There are some teachers with high qualifications, but are very welcoming and always approachable. However, I did not find the lectures very effective. But during practicals, individual attention is given.

Lesser number of students per batch is a beneficial factor

The faculty to student ratio is much better than in any other medical colleges due to the less batch size. The faculties are very helpful, some even help in prblms other than academics. The teachers are very approachable and sweet .

Review of RGMC by a first year student.

Faculty’s teaching is on projectors, very clear and nice. The senior teachers are truly amazing and have complete expertise in the subject.

Their are sufficient faculty members in all the three departments of three subjects. Faculty to student ratio is 10:100 approximately. Faculty's approach to teaching and mentorship is commendable, they are very passionate about their work and wish to provide the best teaching experience to their students. They even guide students in stress and help us manage non-academic challenges as well. They are very approachable and any student can interact with them whenever he/she finds any difficulty in life . During practicals the faculty to student ratio is 5:25 . The best possible teaching methods are used. Demonstrations of the practicals are done perfectly by the senior expert teachers, followed by theoretical explanations.

Professors of this college are highly qualified and experienced.

Faculties of our college is very nice. Faculty to student ratio is also good. We have total 1 HOD, 4 Associate professors, 4 Demonstrators for Anatomy subject. We have 1 HOD, 2 Associate professors, 2 demonstrators, 3 junior residents for Physiology subject. For biochemistry subject, we have 1 HOD, 2 Associate professors, 3 junior residents, 2 Lab assistants. Everyone is excellent at their positions. Professors are highly qualified and experienced. They know how to imbibe concepts in student's brain.
