All about Rajiv Gandhi Medical College -Thane

Canteen facilities, the college actually does not have its canteen as of now ,it's under construction

The hostel provided are the best in Maharashtra. As for the boys hostel a building of 23 floors is allotted, each room having 2 students. 2 beds ,mattresses , etc are there. Separate washroom in each room contained with geyser . Each floor also has a common water cooler that provide cold and normal water

Review of RGMC by a first year student.

Hostel must be in the college campus, not far away.
Traveling from hostel to college is expensive.

Hostel Facility is also nice. In one room we have 3 beds ,3 cupboards, 3 tables, 3 chairs , 4 lights and 2 fans. The food is provided by various tiffin services. There is a wide range of variety and quality of food is also nice and hygienic. Registration for hostel is very easy , just one application form for hostel. The hostel fees is very affordable, 4010 rupees, and provides much cheaper accommodation than the private rented accommodation. Just the problem is that the hostel is not in the college campus , so students have to travel to reach college which is kind of expensive!!

In our hostel, 2 accommodations in one room Room has 2 beds and mattresses,fan , exhaust fan. Washroom and bathroom are available in room itself.geyser is present in bathroom. Overall all facilities are good but hostel has no canteen, we need to go out for food.

All About RGMC

There is no canteen or mess for students in college and also in Boys Hostel.

In our hostel room, fan, exhaust fan, washroom within room, geyser, 2 beds and 2 mattress are provided by the college. One room has 2 accommodations. Hostel has a lot of facilities but hostel does not have mess .

A life in a Medical Campus.

The hostel is provided by the college for all the students. After admission to the college, students have the option to stay at the hostel or anywhere outside. The hostel fee is 4000 rupees per annum. The rooms are good and spacious. Every day room gets clean by workers. Every college has its mess or canteen for students. They charge the students as per their regulations. The food is good and hygiene. There is some 24 hours canteen which provides students food for all the 24 hours. Many students don't stay at the hostel and live in a rented apartment or pg. The locality is very friendly and students easily find a good and affordable place to stay.

Good Medical college

Our hostel is the best hostel. Among the 3 hostels, I luckily got the best college hostel.It was best as we met so kind seniors and the facilities that were provided to us were amazing.Our hostel warden was also simple and kind person.

RGMC & CSMH - Prepares you to Survive

Hostel is excellent compared to many Medical Colleges in Mumbai. Decent space in rooms,decent beds, bed matressss, clean & purified water supply 24/7 , Geyser 24/7, Daily brooming & mopping of all rooms by Cleaners appointed. Best times are Ganpati,Christmas,Holi,& New Year Celebrations.

No college mess and limited hostel facilites

Campus Life:

There are annual cultural, sports and academic fests, which are organised very well with adequate funds. Usually held mid year The library is well stocked with academic books and there is a large reading room as well. Technological provisions are poor and there is only one classroom with a whiteboard Clubs and student life is barely present due to small campus

Life at RGMC

The social aspects and extra curriculars are quite good . There are a number of activities that take place which include both academic and non academic events . There are social clubs and groups and competitions held between colleges , especially sports competitions and also dance and singing competitions
