Build a Career with NSHM Durgapur

Likes

Excellent Placements, the college now provide International Training and Placements in France, USA and New Zealand
Very Good Stipend Internships...this year few students who went to New Zealand are geetting around 16-17 Lakhs in 5 Months
Labs are very good and very big, they college organizes also national events

Dislikes

All is good, but the college has lot of theory and practical classes 5 days...very tiring
Hostel Food is Ok could be better for all students

Placement Experience:

Most of students get more than 2 placements. They placement is over in 1 Month and now a lot of students are being placed in Europe, USA, Mauritius with a very good package. They are also placing students in Retails, FMCG, Entertainment and other areas. But i think the fee that we pay, we can get back only in third year when students can go for Internship, as they can earn more than 6-7 Lakhs and palcements is just too good.

Land of wonders

Likes

Faculty members, availability of books and sports equipment.
Very eco friendly environment with greenery all around campus.
Available food and beverages outlets and break timing.

Dislikes

Campus infrastructure could have been improved
A little bit of lineancy from faculty members or teachers could be expected.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was my passion to be a chef The faculty in the college is excellent and they are one of the finest quality teachers. The teaching method is Catchy there is not really a problem in understanding what they are trying to convey. There are weekly tests and assignment reviews which are mediocre in the level of passing for a student.

Likes

Good and friendly faculties with individual attention as the student strength is less
Nice and lush green campus of 28 acres with all amenities
Food stalls and availability of food acquired is great

Dislikes

Poor maintenance problem and regular maintenance is not performed
It's not well built despite the humongous area it acquired

Placement Experience:

-Students become eligible for campus placements from 5 semester and quite a few managing Business come to hire - companies visited are Nestle ,hindustan Unilever,hinduja group, peerless - highest package acquired by student are 21 and average being 300000-400000 - to serve as a chief chef in a reputed hotel management branch

For 3 years course placement starts from 5th semester For 4 years course placement starts from 7th semesters Most of the 5 star hotels and resorts visited our campus like taj , Oberoi , hyatt , the park etc. Highest package 4 lakh per annum Average 2 lakh per annum After degree some abroad job

This is just a fabulous college. This NSHM knowledge campus are in two places 1 is in durgapur west bengol and another one is in kolkata west bengal.
