19 Sep, 2025 MAT 2025 (September) Exam Schedule has been released @mat.aima.in. The last date to register for CBT is September 22, 2025. The PBT and CBT exam dates are Sept 21 and Sept 28, 2025 respectively. The Admit card for PBT has been released. For more details, Click Here.
02 Sep, 2025 XAT 2026 registration has started for MBA/PGDM admission. Aspirants can apply online till December 5, 2025, @xatonline.in. XAT 2026 will be held on January 4, 2026, from 2 PM to 5 PM. For more details, Check Here.
XIME Chennai Admission 2024 for its flagship PGDM program has a total intake of 120 students every year, further it also has an excellent gender diversity with 50% female candidates across the batch. The classes for the session generally commence in the month of July. XIME Chennai Admission 2024 offers PGDM Program in 6 specializations, shortlisting for which is done on the basis of scores in CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT/TANCET exams followed by GD and PI. XIME Chennai PGDM Admission 2024
XIME Chennai offers a two-year-long full-time residential PGDM program with specializations in Finance, Marketing, IT % Analytics, Human Resources, General Management and Operations.
XIME Chennai PGDM Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline y with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks for all subjects taken together (45% for SC/ST candidates).
- Final year candidates or those who are awaiting their results may also apply. However, such candidates should have maintained an average of 50% marks in the degree course until then.
- Applicants who have a backlog in graduation are not eligible to apply.
XIME Chennai PGDM Selection Criteria
Admission will be based on the candidate’s performance in the Entrance Exam followed by GD and PI.
- Candidates seeking admission to the PGDM program must secure a valid score in XAT/CAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT/TANCET. The qualified candidates are further called for the GD and PI.
- The final selection of candidates includes different parameters like Past Academic Record, Score in Common Admission Test, Performance in GD and PI, Participation in Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities and Gender & Academic Diversity as given below in a tabular format.
Weightage for Final Selection
XIME Chennai assigns weights to different components based on which final selection is done. Interested candidates can check the weightage from the table below:

How to Apply for XIME Chennai?
To apply for admission, the candidates must visit the official website of XIME, Chennai and follow the below-mentioned steps:
- Click on “Apply Now”
- Register by verifying the email id and mobile number.
- Log in using the username and password.
- Fill up all the mandatory details.
- Enter the entrance test scores.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature.
- Now pay the required amount of application fees through Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card.
- Submit the form.
Note: The application fee is INR 1750. A service fee per application is also payable along with the application.
Candidates need not send any document or print of the filled application form to the institute at the time of the application process.

Ans. Yes, the institute does offer boarding facilities, There are separate hostels for Men and Women. The Women’s Hostel, ‘Maria Hostel’, is located right behind the main teaching-cum administration block of the Institute. The Men’s hostel is located west of the main administrative building of XIME-Chennai.
