Internships Opportunities

4.5

E&Y, KPMG, DELL, TATA Groups, Paperboat, Accenture, Infosys, Mphasis, HDFC, Aditya Birla software, and Cognizant are a few companies that are every yearly recruiter in our college. The summer internship, work experience, knowledge, confidence, honesty, expressing your interest, and complete knowledge about your resume will help you clear an interview.

Placement Experience

4.5

From term 5 i.e. 2nd year 2nd term students are eligible to attend placements. Based on a company's criteria students sit for placements. 100% placement All eligible students get placed between term 5 to term 6 Students leave the college with the job offer in their hand Students also get PPO from companies if they do well in their summer internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is basically from 10.5 lakhs to 12.5 lakhs including hostel, food, and academics. It's a compulsory residential college. Students have to stay in a hostel and study for the entire program of PGDM. Coming to Job which we all are looking for when we invest in education mainly in pg I would like to share my side and my experience with this I did a live project in my first year where we have to tackle both academics and the project. My live project was a paid one. It is purely based on our willingness to go for the live project because it is very tough but manageable. My second experience was my internship. That was also a paid summer internship program with a very good amount as a stipend I also did another live project in my second year of PGDM and that one was also a paid project. It is completely based on our willingness, interest, and dedication we have toward the job. All these add up to our resume and also this will be helpful for our career growth

Campus Life

4.5

Life at the campus will teach you many lessons and experiences that you get will help you to get ready for the real corporate world. You will get to know that the sky is so pretty in Chennai...only at XIME. XIME is beautiful in all seasons here. Coming to club activities: Students are given full responsibility when it comes to the club and social media handling I will share my experience here : I'm part of the social media team where students handle the official websites and other social media platforms of XIME Chennai. I'm part of the newsletter team as well Coming to clubs: I'm the President of the Entrepreneur club at XIME Chennai and event manager for the analytics club. We can learn networking skills and socializing skills when it comes to club activities. Clubs are there to bring out our real interest and talent in a particular field. Every festive will be celebrated here for a particular time which will be held by the cultural club.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

XIME Chennai is the only campus that has an AC facility when compared to all the other campuses in Bangalore and Kochi. It's compulsory for a student to stay in a hostel for 2 year PGDM program. It's a 2 sharing room with 2 cupboards along with AC Canteen is common for both boys and girls

Interview Experience

4.5

My topic for GD was very general based on COVID-19 and how it affected us It was an online interview The written test will be on spot and the evaluation will also be on the spot Good communication both speaking and writing will help you ace the interview Preparation was completely based on online reviews and general topics current affairs would be an added advantage Knowing your seniors and passing out alumni contacts through LinkedIn and other social media platforms would be way more helpful.

Actually the student of last semester student only participate in campus interview in a campus interview. they will selected 15 to 20 people in a campus interview. they don't select all the people and they came from local companies near by Salem.village area companies like a factories like cement company , manufacturing companies soda packaging company like that company offered as management training for the one year they will provide 15 to 20000 there will be a increment and promotions on that manufacturing companies . the student selected in campus interview they was well educated student and well known student about the MBA concept and they didn't they didn't fail in any subject they clear all the papers and get the good marks even first class students they are better but my interest was in local companies so I choose to go in big MNC companies but in my college they don't offer campus interview for the big companies they call only local companion so I don't have interested at local companies.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are decent, especially when one talks about its authenticity and compares it to a lot of colleges in the country. We are associated with some good names like EY, Asian Paints, SBI, Vedanta, etc. The mean and median hover around 8.5 - 9.5 LPA mark. Last Highest: 15 LPA and Lowest: 5.5 - 6lpa. Roles offered may not be the best, but they are decent too.
