Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Tsm is of Trimester pattern and three midterms examinations will be conducted per year. The subjects offered enriches the decision-making skills and analytical skills in a person. Separate entrepreneurship programs are offered for students who are aspiring to be an entrepreneur.The knowledge gained not only prepares makes one ready for the corporate world but also tackle real-life situations. Case studies are one of the best ways to stimulate new research and a lot of Case studies from Harvard University will be provided that makes you to think deeper and makes you more viable to enriched knowledge and if the findings are valuable it can lead to new and advanced research. A Rural Development immersion program will be organized for the students that will help us to gain insights about the rural economy which is very vital to the country's economic growth.An International Outbound Training Program will be organized for students to give exposure to the academic environment in a foreign country. This includes both academic and industry learning during the stay in the country.

TSM is an institution that specializes in Marketing and Sales. The main ambition of TSM is to make students get placed in esteemed enterprises and bloom them with more talent. Placements in TSM has always been 100%. An 8 to 12-week summer internship program is mandatory for every student which can be availed through TSM itself. Placements in TSM are taken care by the Corporate Relations Team comprising of TSM's own students who efficiently drive the process. Career Enhancement Program ,which is a completely student driven program in which students train themselves with the guidance of mentors and learn practical applications along with academic learning. There are total of 93 recruiters and 125 internship companies and the chief recruiters include Colgate,Nestle,Coke,Zoho,Federal Bank,Honeywell and ITC. Highest package offered is 12 lakhs and average package is 5.81 lakhs.

There are a lot of events conducted by TSM. Diwali, Pongal, Holi and pooja celebrations will be conducted every year where students and faculty join together and rejoice the event.A freshers party will be conducted for the freshers and Yukti, the management fest of TSM is one of the biggest management/cultural fest in South India and is completely Student-driven. There are lot of clubs like Marketing club, HR club, Operations club where students can enhance their skills and knowledge with the guidance of the respective faculty.A common thing in all these is that everything is student-driven which is very peculiar and it helps students to get to know about management in a very early stage.

The fee charged by the institute for PGDM is 8.57 lakhs and for MBA is 8.17 lakhs. This is very feasible and low when compared to other B-schools in South India where the average fees is around 13 lakhs. The mode pf payment can be either in the form of Cheque or DD. Once you have applied for admissions you have to pay Rs 600 and once you are shortlisted for GD/PI you have to pay an additional fee of Rs 900. There is complete transparency in the fee breakdown as the fee details and receipts will be regularly updated in the student's ERP profile.

The College does offer a scholarship for eligible students i.e.the students who have performed extraordinarily well in the entrance exams.

The Female to Male ratio in TSM is 55:45. TSM follows the principle "Learn to Learn" and follows the same in curricular and extra-curricular activities and is structured with high passion.T SM students conduct Yukti(management fest), sports events(many interstate events), cultural events that allow students to establish their talent and express themselves. Students are also allowed to publish research articles and new articles in international levels by collaborating with respective faculty. Every year the best student in summer internship program is awarded a cash prize.

The hostel is equipped with a full WiFi facility and is surrounded by trees that give you warmth and make your room feel as if it is air-conditioned. The rooms and restrooms will be regularly cleaned and kept neat and tidy. There is 24 hours water and power facility and water heaters are provided in every restroom. Mineral water and water coolers are provided in the hostel and every room has a very spacious closet for each student. There are 2 sharing,3 sharing as well as single sharing rooms. People regularly come in for washing the clothes and also provide an ironing facility.

The seniors here are the best pillar of support and they guide us in every possible way and students work in tandem with them in various club activities that help them to gain an extra pinch of knowledge and experience. The Alumni of TSM who are working in various top companies are excelling in their career and making remarkable contributions to their organizations and this will add more value to the recruiting at TSM. The Alumni cell of TSM will organize regular meetings for students with the alumni of TSM to share their knowledge and experience and make the students excel in their careers.

Thiagarajar School of Management being one of the premier institutes in South India and PGDM being its Flagship Program, I had no hesitation in choosing Tsm. The high advantage of PGDM is that you will be involved with a lot of practical sessions rather than classroom learning. Moreover, PGDM is offered only by institutes recognized by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) and TSM has been also awarded NBA and NAAC Accreditation. Pgdm is where you can build your soft skills and the curriculum is flexible and does not have to follow university standards and also can be changed by the institutes according to the industry requirements. For admission, You need to take up entrance tests like MAT.CAT,XAT,CMAT and the candidate must have 3 years of bachelor's degree from a recognized university by the UGC. Candidates can apply for admission once the dates are released and the shortlisted candidates need to attend the GD followed by the PI. Candidates from Tamil Nadu can take up the state level entrance examination TANCET and students can apply for counseling and selected candidates are exempted from the GD/PI process and can directly take up admission.
