From the seventh semester all the student should ready to have a placement. College also providing a placement at then of the 8th semester. Percentage of the student to get placement is 70%.plan is to get the job and to maintain the job and to get higher position by experience.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, we are eligible for the campus interview in our college. Every year more companies are visiting our college for campus interviews and they are taking students every year constantly. The companies like Himatsinga, Jockey, Gokul das, etc are constantly visiting our college for campus interviews.

Placement Experience:

From the final semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Only a very few companies visited the campus. Tulsi textiles which is chennai based is the better one among the 2-3 companies. Only 1-2 offers are made by the companies. 15000 per month is the maximum offered by the companies. Only very few students get placed. I am planning to go for higher studies abroad. ( courses in fashion production)

Some of the top recruiters of our college are shahi exports, Tulsi silks, manju exports, control Union, Chennai silks, Nationals Handloom development corporation limited, Lakshmi machine works Private limited, Asian fabrics, mahaveer silks, intertek, modern testing service Bangalore. There are almost packages of 1 to 2 lakh for all of the students.

My love for Handloom and the story of it.

Placement Experience:

We are trained well for the placements by the staff during the final semester. Some of the companies regularly recruiting from IIHT are Shahi exports, Himatsingks sage, Pee Aaa impex. The average salary is 2.10 lakhs for degree holders and for diploma it is 1.80 Lakhs.
