Course Curriculum Overview

Bsc Forensic Science is one of the prestigious courses offered by this college. The curriculum of this course is divided into six semesters and every semester two midterms takes place and there is the measure and examination twice a year.

Placement Experience

Guess, the college provides placement opportunities to the students of the final year in various companies. The college also helps and guides the students towards getting the internship in the intermediate years of their college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of this college is definitely better than a lot many other colleges. The fees offered by this college is extremely reasonable and a student belonging from a middle-class family as well can easily afford the fees of this college.

Yes, the college is quite active in extracurricular activities as well. Freshers and Farewell are conducted by the college. Various other cultural fest are also conducted by the college along with different seminars and conferences.

Minimum 50% in class 12 examination is the eligibility criteria to get admission in GIET degree College. However, the admission is done on the basis of marks secured in GIET CET examination conducted by the college itself.

The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

My bad campus life

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Admission:

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.

Value for education and money

The cut-off should be over 80%. We can apply for admission through Anna university online admission or directly contact the college. There is a website for our college, we can contact IIHT via that website. ADMISSION: Admission process was really simple while I was applying for the course. From the year 2019 JEE MAINS is mandatory for admission. 45% minimum average of mathematics, physics, chemistry put together. Improvement marks will not be considered. Admission is based on the merit of rank obtained by the candidate in the corresponding year. SEATS AND RESERVATIONS: Seats available: 60 Tamil Nadu candidates - 50% of seats OBC - 27% SC - 15% ST - 7.5% PROS: Very low tuition fees. College provides degree and diploma for only a single branch so there are only very few students studying on campus which makes the teaching learning process more transparent.
