You will get placement in your last semester but not every student got placement those who are well knowledged and Brillant got the job in a company. They mostly make you placed in TCS, Tech Mahindra. The average package you will get is 2.5 lakh per annum and the highest 3 lakh per annum in a company if you got placed. The percentage for placement should be above 60% to be eligible for placement. Talking about me I didn't get placed in any company because I haven't chosen to job in the IT sector. I plan to do an MBA from a well reputed college.

From the starting of 5th semester companies are starting their visit to college for student placement there are various types of companies come for recruitment and hiring students in which some are like Amazon , Tata consultancy services cognizant etc. The average package is 250000 rupees per annum.
