My 3 years experience

The college is a private college affiliated with the University of Lucknow. The admission process is very simple just go and fill the form and if you have equal to or greater than 60% in your intermediate then they will give you admission. But there are only 60 seats for BCA and other courses like BBA, BCOM HONS., BFA, etc. I got admission to this college by counselling in a college named NATIONAL PG COLLEGE, LUCKNOW. Actually, I had applied in NATIONAL PG COLLEGE but due to my low rank I didn't get admission to that college but when I go on counselling I saw the canopy or you can say a desk where a banner of Goel college was hanging and they asked me to take admission in their college, I searched a little bit and taken admission, Actually there were other private colleges of Lucknow also having their advertisement canopies. And if you are an sc/st category student then you will get a full fee waiver in this college but you have to fill U.P scholarship form.

I had chosen this course because I like coding and computer related things. The faculty here are not so good and not helping in nature. They will always treat you like a primary school student and you even didn't get the feeling that you are studying in a college. The college demands your full attendance and if you are absent any day they will call your parents and talk so rudely with them. The teachers here are qualified in their subjective field but not good at teaching and you find them always angry. The term exams are easy you can easily pass them and the main exam will be held according to the schedule of Lucknow University.

Some persons got placed in big MNCs and the work under big projects but some placed in an mnc to do a job in a call centre or bpo. That is the reality of this course from this college. You have to build your knowledge on your own to get a better job, for that the college is not going to work for you.

You will get placement in your last semester but not every student got placement those who are well knowledged and Brillant got the job in a company. They mostly make you placed in TCS, Tech Mahindra. The average package you will get is 2.5 lakh per annum and the highest 3 lakh per annum in a company if you got placed. The percentage for placement should be above 60% to be eligible for placement. Talking about me I didn't get placed in any company because I haven't chosen to job in the IT sector. I plan to do an MBA from a well reputed college.

The fees for BCA is around 180,000 overall for 3 years. It Means 30,000 per semester. They will hike the fees according to Lucknow university. Mostly the fees don't hike. If you fill the form of UP scholarship then will get the scholarship of around 6k to 30k per year but some people didn't get the scholarship. It's all upon the UP government. If you are an sc/st category student then you will get a full fee waiver but you have to give 5000 rs. For registration.

There is an annual fest in the college which is for 3-4 days every year you can enjoy it very much. But the exact month is not decided for this event. Also, they celebrate the dandiya nights event every year in Navratri which is very interesting. There are two libraries in the college where you can find almost every book easily. The classroom is air conditioned but many times AC doesn't work. Also, they have computer labs with 5g internet. They have good furniture for students projector facility. And washroom is every where in the building you don't need to go long way for the toilet. Some sports tournaments occur every year for cricket badminton football etc.
