Student make college best but college do not make student best

Likes

College faculty is very good,department and the member of the college are good in nature as well as helping nature
Every teachers was give proper class notes which student is poor in class then teachers extra efforts to them,thish college is only one in gorakhpur which gives best education at minimum cost
I like to tell there is a good campus for all activities,the

Dislikes

I don't like there water cooling system because they dont work properly
The main things is they dont sent messege on time for assignment project works
Library is very poor many student dont know library is where ,many student not able to book purches but they don't take the book from book

My plan after getting degree to give exam of NET and JRF after qualifying the net and jrf pursuding for p.hd in mathematics .If I am not able to qualify I will do my p.hd under my head department teacher.

St. Andrew's College :- Everything in a Nutshell

Likes

AFFORDABILITY :- This college provides quality education at very low fe.e
ACADEMIC ENVIRONMENT :- Even though it is in a low tier city, it offers a great academic environment for nourishing the intellect.
INITIATIVES :- Every year the collge tries to provide something new to the student.

Dislikes

INFRASTRUCTURE :- Although half of the college is renovated recently but still the other half is not up to the mark.
HOSTEL :- The hostel is only girls and boys have to look for rented rooms.
LONG LONG LINES :- Everytime you've to pay fees, examination form or submit scholarship form, there are long queues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The new CBCS Sytem was the only reason why I choose to do Masters from here. The curriculum was redefined and only the relevent topics were included. Apart from that the minor papers were game-changers. I learnt a lot about different streams. Following are the changes that I would like to see in the upcoming years :- 1. Although the new curriculum introduces new topics which are relevant to the real-world but it should be focusing more on the application rather than the long theoritical paragraphs. 2. Many of the things in the curriculum are for exposure purpose so that the student gets hands-on experience. This thing should be implemented systematically rather than on paper exam. 3. Teaching methods should evolve as per the curriculum. The lengthy proofs can be shared as a video file and the college lecture should focus on intuition, exploration and research approach.

Life in St Andrews Gorakhpur

Likes

College is quite good and clean there is a canteen and its open everytime
You can play basketball anytime you want
Teachers are good and some teachers are very good.

Dislikes

Though its a co-ed college but sometimes proctor don't allow girls and boys to sit together
Many people from outside can also enter
The staff of counters are rude

Placement Experience:

You can apply for placements in the last year of your course. The offers are not much. The highest package is 12 thousand per month. Because of such less salary, there are not many students who are interested in this. My plans after getting the degree are to pursue phd and after that apply for an assistant professor post.
