I was born and brought up in Assam so I always wanted to do my graduation from Assam itself in order to stay here with my family. However, I was a bit skeptical about finding a good college here so when I began my research I found Nalbari College which was just the right match for me.

I applied directly to the college for admission with all my academic documents for evaluation. I have completed higher secondary education, therefore, applied for the Bachelor of Science course. The admission process was based on the scores of previous academics and submitting the documents at the college for counseling once you get the offer letter.

Nalbari College admits students based truly on merit list prepared by its selection committee.Since I secured good marks in my 10+2 exam, thus grabbing a sit in the 3 year B.Sc in Physics was an easy task for me.During the admission process students are handed over a form to fill their personal and academic credentials and a merit list is prepared based on these forms

My father being a central govt had always have a transferrable job and during his postings at Assam that I came to know about this prestigious college.The institute admits student based on merit and due to my high marks in 10+2 I opted for B.Sc in IT over there. The college is affiliated to Gauhati University and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and believed to be one the renowned colleges of Assam for its academic success

Nalbari College is one of the premier colleges of Assam. Established way back in pre-independent era, this college has taken a pioneering role in shaping and promoting higher education in the entire lower Brahmaputra valley. In the beginning, the college was affiliated to the Calcutta University, but in 1948, when Gauhati University was established, it came under the academic jurisdiction of the latter. The selection procedure is purely based on merit. A Student seeking admission Into the college should apply in the prescribed application form obtainable along With the prospectus from college office. Admission into the college Is strictly in order of merit and is governed by college admission rules.

I got direct admission into the college. There is no entrance exam or anything sort of. I just applied for the college and then got an admission offer letter and went ahead to fulfill the admission process and seeked admission in the college.

No entrance is conducted for this college. I was admitted in this college directly. So I didn't have to prepare for any sort of entrance exam. I applied for this college and then got admitted after fulfilling the procedures of admission.

The management of Nalbari college is also good. But the politician should not interfere in the management of the college.

All the quality of the college is good but there is a problem yet. After heavy rain, the college campus as well as streets remain under water. This is the big disadvantage of the college. The management is not bad but still need many improvement. I hope that my college will be known all over my country once and help the students in achieving their goals.
