The management of Nalbari college is also good. But the politician should not interfere in the management of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
We took admission in the year of 2011. The University of Gauhati introduced the semester system for the first time at the graduate level. We are the first batch of the semester system. There are six semesters in three years. In the first to fourth semester, there are two papers of honors subject and four papers of other subjects.
Placement Experience
Placement is a great problem in India. The college gives us education and knowledge only but not employment.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in our college. At first we must say about the college week. In this event different types of sports and cultural programs performed by the students. Another important event is the Freshman Social. In this event cultures of different tribes of ASSAM are shown and welcome the fresh student.
Fee Structure And Facilities
When we studied in college almost every student had to pay the admission fee. All the fees like examination fees, student welfare fees, tuition fees, etc. were included in the admission fee. Our college is a Govt. aided college so the fees are not so high. I remember that my first-year fee was around INR 3500 only.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I did not opt for any scholarship or education loan because I did not need a scholarship or educational loan.
Campus Life
Our campus life was very joyful. We were free to study in the library at any time during working days. In our college boys and girls studied in the same class. No gender is made to any student in this college. The number of boys is almost equal to the number of girls.
Alumni/Alumna
Our seniors were very helpful. They provide us valuable information, notes, and books also. They always try to uplift us.
Admission
I got direct admission by filling up the form in the year 2011. At that time every student has to fill up the entry form provided by the college authority. After filling up the form a merit list was published, admission was given on the basis of merit.
Faculty
The faculties of Nalbari college are highly educated. They know how to teach and develop human resources. They are very helpful. They treat us as our family members. They always try to give the ultimate level of knowledge to the students. They also try to develop the extracurricular abilities of the students.
