Review of nift srinagar

Likes

Infrastructure of the college as well as the hostels
The support from the faculties as well as non teaching staff is superb
All the materials needed for us is available in the department store

Dislikes

The things in the department store is too expensive
Food everyday contains too much of oil and it's sometimes a reason for an upset stomach
Toilet facilities in men both in hostel as well as hostel is too bad

Placement Experience:

There is campus placement but most of the placements offers like 1.5 laks . Most of the students take up an internship and settle in the same company until I buy are good jol. Highest paid salary was about 17.5 lakhs

Campus infrastructure as nift Srinagar is one of the biggest infrastructure in all nift campuses around India its environment is pretty good having. There different labs for every department with all equipments like body forms, chemical test labs .
Knowledge of faculties are pretty good they are quite experienced teachers very friendly in nature and they literally tech you from the basics of everything to make the strong base for the student .some of faculties are nift pass-out.
Time management of nift is one of most important espect as there is lots of practical work they give equal time to every subject so that we can gain knowledge in every field equally.they give time to theory subjects too like for fabric knowledge.

Dislikes

The most disliked thing there is a huge resource problem like it's in Srinagar it becomes very difficult for students to arrange different types of materials and fabrics we have to source a lot still many time we didn't get the same material
Fashion shows are the main thing in fashion design college but it's not that was expected.they rarely do any fashion shows as compared to other campus of nift in India . Literally students have to request the facilities for fashion shows.
The food was not good there most the time students skips their meals because not edible. Because of poor food service students suffer from food poisoning.this the thing I didn't like at all in nift Srinagar.

Placement Experience:

70%of students get college placement.the average package is 8 lakh per annum and then increases according to the work of student. Companies visited for placement:e- commerce company ajio,myntra,amazon, first cry and fashion brand: Addidas,h&m, GAP, BLACKBERRYS. After getting my degree I thought for working under any designer for few years after that I'll start my own business.

NIFT the college of dreams

Likes

I like the way there are different guest facilities for some new and interesting subjects
If you decide to live in the hostel that will definitely benefit you as there will be people who will be available for you to work with
You won’t have the academically pressure that you’ll feel in other colleges, the submission dates are pretty considerate

Dislikes

I honestly don’t think there’s anything to dislike about this college
We don’t have availability of stationary nearby or in the campus
There is very less accessiblility to things like taxis and autos

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are available from 3rd year. I have yet not completed any internships but I hope to do them soon. The highest package one of the students got was of ?2lakhs and there are several students who got admissions out of India that too with scholarships. My plans after the degree is to go out of India for exposure too and to do my masters degree aswl

National Institute of Fashion Technology - [NIFT] Srinagar

Admission:

When I had to apply for the fashion communication course, I had to give a special entrance examination which is conducted by NIFT, called the Situation Written Test. Admission was granted to me on the basis of the marks I scored. The cutoff for this test varies and is subjected to change every year.

Lakshita Saini's Review On National Institute Of Fashion Technology - [NIFT], Srinagar

Admission:

Cleared NIFT common entrance exam with a ranking of 224 and had choosen NIFT for its reputation of being home to free minds. Then got admitted to this college after the counseling process was over and I got this according to my score.
