NIFT the college of dreams

The curriculum starts off with Foundation Program in which they teach you the basic things that you need to learn before starting the actual course. So after that comes the final 3 years in which you get detailed knowledge about your course as well as other thing such as photography, model, art etc

I have yet not not been introduced to the internships and placements but I hope to get it done by the end of 3rd year so I have not much information to this questions. But yes I have been given examples of several students who have got good results from the internships

Campus placements are available from 3rd year. I have yet not completed any internships but I hope to do them soon. The highest package one of the students got was of ?2lakhs and there are several students who got admissions out of India that too with scholarships. My plans after the degree is to go out of India for exposure too and to do my masters degree aswl

The course fee is 3 lakhs and it is a little expensive but the amount of education level and experience is very high, plus the faculty helps you choose your path when they analyse what work you are good in. There are also some scholarships you can apply for while you are in the college.

So, the college makes the extrovert side come out, you cannot just stay in your room and do your own business, it is very necessary to interact with people to get your things done, there are many clubs in this college like cultural club, drama club etc

The renting facilities are a little expensive, and plus the facilities are not upto the mark, the living facilities are great except when it's too cold there's no heater to keep us warm, it gets really hard for us when there are power outages

I applied to NID first and then UID, I got in UID but the thing was the fees were very expensive, and coming from an average middle class family that's not something my parents could afford. I got rejected from NID, I still don't know why. So in my college admissions you have to first apply for the college on the online official website, when it's done there are 2 exams that are done 1. GAT 2. CAT. In gat you have all the practical knowledge which you have to show but in CAT it's all about your creative abilities

So basically I applied for this college last year and I was really scared to come here 1. Because it's Kashmir 2. Because I didn't knew anything about designing garments. One thing I would like to mention is that you can choose any course and you can get knowledge about every course
