ONE OF THE BEST INSTITUTIONS IN MAHARASHTRA:GMC MIRAJ

Likes

Gmc miraj is one of the well known institutions in Maharashtra
Professor are highly educated and have a great knowledge of the subject.
Teaching methods for the students are often used to teach the students to be more productive

Dislikes

Infrastructure needs to be reconstructed
Mess and food quality is too much bad i want to change it
Sport facilities are not too much as other colleges have.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Gmc miraj is one of the best institude which complete their sallybus within the time and here exam are carried out in multiple forms and also teaches too much extra context wrt NEET pg i want to change practicals instrument that is specially not well otherwise all well.

Teaching is very good in my college, the faculty here is expert and pays well attention to the students.
It has a good competitive environment and overseas a great place to study
Good patient flow with timely clinical postings

Dislikes

Weak infrastructure,needs a lot of redevelopment in some buildings
Lack of amphitheatre and many other amenities in the campus
Hostels are not well equipped and facilities provided are poor

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is CBME one now, with all good changes like early clinical exposure, ensuring timely clinical postings of every year. It helps for the future pursuits and there are 4 exams per year with a gap of 1 to 2 months.

things you should consider before joining GMC Miraj (student's POV)

Likes

the college infrastructure is old but well maintained.
the faculty is very experienced and very cooperative . all the professors are very friendly and help students in every possible way.
all functions are conducted. there is a play ground, courts, gym, library etc . green campus.

Dislikes

hostel for 1st year students was not very good in condition.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is definately a tough course. along with being tough, it also puts some responsibilities on your shoulders as you will be treating real people with real problems in the real world as you complete this course. while studying, students should focus more on 'why' and 'how' type questions than 'what' type of questions. the major exams are conducted in 9 semesters . each semester is of 6 months + 1 year of compulsary internship.

I appreciated with my faculty they are good or most talented but I not satisfied with hostel government services
The compus are comparatively good and all instruments are available for practical perpose

Dislikes

Hostel service I am not comfortable with it
Taste of catine is average not good was I expected

Mbbs course is always on top and this course give you respect which is not you afford in your life other than this course but in this course you need to always study in your life and there you will be feel problems

The exposure to practical knowledge is good
College campus is really well. The environment is nature friendly.
Professors are really helpful and friendly.

Dislikes

The condition of hostels is worst to live.
College is little away from the city so you have to face some problems sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The new CBME curriculum is mainly case or clinical oriented therefore we'll get so much knowledge and real life experience. The practical part of this curriculum is so good that everyone will dive into the subject with their interest.

This course is very good for the future. But the improper study is not able for jobs quickly after completion. The exam also very tough and lecture are not taken. The future in this faculty is very good.

Government Medical College Miraj is a very well known and prestigious college. You'll get a lot of patient load there which will help you in practicing medicine a lot. There are many teachers and PG students to guide you through your journey.
Overall the staff is very cooperative and you'll get a good environment to learn and practice new things. All the departments are present in one hospital only and you are being posted in each department so that you can gain knowledge about all of

College infrastructure needs a lot of improvement. While teaching in tha wards is quite good but instead of hust telling us the theory it would be even better if they teach us things practically on the patient.

Couse curriculum is decided by muhs so the college goes according to that. And as the real world application is considered we all know medical studies are of utmost real world application. Postings are held for every batch so that they can get hospital exposure very early, as early as 2nd year itself

My college experience was good. i like college infrastructure.
i liked behavior of teaching staff. they are very kind.
i like hostel as well.it is clean and very secure

Dislikes

i didn't like food quality of mess. its very average.
I heard sometimes there is ragging happened with students.
lecture schedule is so hectic. from 8 am to 5 pm

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because my dream is to become a doctor and heal others. Our faculties are well qualified. All of them have a minimum degree of Master of Medicine (MD). The faculty-student ratio is 1:40 because college intake is very low. Our term exams are after 8 months and it's very difficult to pass since it is 100 marks written paper.
