Admission to the course requires passing an entrance exam and an interview. The faculty, mainly recent graduates of the course, face challenges in effectively addressing student queries. There's a lack of transparency in the fee structure, with unnecessary fines imposed. An additional fee of Rs 10,000 is charged for admission. The course costs Rs 360,000, with extra charges of Rs 40,000 for uniforms and exam fees, averaging Rs 50,000 per semester. The Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme reduces costs to Rs 1,250 per semester, totaling around Rs 50,000 plus additional charges.

The West Bengal Free-ship Scheme (WBFS) offers a 100% tuition fee rebate, aligning costs with TFW after the first year, totaling about Rs 150,000. A 50% rebate from the second year costs Rs 20,000 per semester. The Vivekananda Scholarship provides Rs 60,000 annually for students with 80% marks, totaling Rs 240,000 over four years. SC/ST students can apply for additional scholarships. Placement begins in the 7th semester, with major recruiters like TCS, BYJUS, and Cognizant.

TCS hired 14 students, while others hired one or two. Only 30% of students secured placements, with the highest salary package of 10 LPA from BYJUS and an average of 3.5 LPA. Ten students received internships at Reliance, earning Rs 5,000 monthly. Scholarship details are on the bulletin board, with applications for WBFS after the first semester, except for TFW students.
