Institute of Management Development and Research (IMDR) is a college established in the year 1974. The college is approved by AICTE and DTE and is located in the Pune city of Maharashtra. The college offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management course (PGDM) program with dual specializations for a duration of two years. Further, IMDR is also offering PGDM for Working Professionals. To get admission at IMDR Pune, one must have completed graduation with at least 50% marks from any stream from a recognized university with or without work experience. For SC/ST candidates, the eligibility marks are a minimum of 45%. Students are granted admission on the basis of their scores in entrance exams. Students can give any of the following entrance tests to avail admission: CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ MH-CET/ GMAT. For final selection, academic record, performance in the test, Group Work/ Personal Interview will be considered. For Admission to PGDM for Working Professionals, a minimum of 1 year work experience certificate is mandatory, or else the admission might stand cancelled.

IMDR Pune PGDM for Working Professionals
Institute of Management Development and Research (IMDR) offers PGDM for Working Professionals. Classes are conducted during weekends or evening which is tailored to meet the need of the working professionals. The eligibility criteria is mentioned below:
- Graduates from any discipline with minimum of 1 year work experience are eligible to apply for admission, provided they have obtained not less than 50% marks at graduation (45% for SC/ST candidates).
- If a candidate is selected and yet to receive his /her work experience certificate, then admission is treated as provisional subject to submission of the same within stipulated time.
- The institute reserves the right to cancel the admission for failure to do so.
