Admission:
I choose upes as they got the best labs for aerospace engineering and best professors for students. Upes have the labs almost comparable to the iits and any other colleges having aerospace engineering.

The college placement is really good as compared to other colleges so I choose this college over other colleges and the location of this college is pretty good so I chose this college.the admission is based on jee main percentile and 12 th boards

- I really like the nature view from the campus.
Dislikes
- I dont like the college timetable as i have 6 hours of classes and 3 hours of break in between which kills alot of time.
Admission:
I did not apply for any other college . Eligibility criteria for UPES is minimun 50% in class 12th boards. Exams accepted are jee mains percentile. Most preferred exam is the entrance exam of college itself, cutoff is above 75% marks.

I was preparing for NDA before applying to any college but unfortunately I couldn't clear it so as a backup I reserved a seat in this college by paying a significant amount of fees as some of my friends were here so I thought this would be a nice college and it was also close to my hometown Bareilly. So it was a favourable choice among others

The main reason I applied for this college is the course Btech fire and safety is not offered in every college as well as it has tie up with foreign university. The college also guarantee placements .

- There are a lot of monkeys in the college are which sometimes attack students
- There are major issues in their website as it crashes when more people are using it

As a student from boarding school it was very difficult for me to study for competitive exams as there was no consideration into it . I got selected in SRM for the same course but didn't go there because it was a college in south south my last option was upes

- The weather and nature of around the campus is very overwhelming.
Dislikes
- Crowd can be better. There are generally haryana bihar people being unnecessary cool.
- There could be danger of animals sometimes around the campus.
Admission:
I chose this college because it was quite good comparison to the other colleges i was getting. The crowd comparison is also good excluding some portion. The weather here is very pleasant and the college is also far from the main city giving the new experience.

- Our college is diverse community with students from across India, offering excellent cultural exposure and opportunities for social connections. With a variety of clubs, including technical, social, creative, dance and art.
- The college infrastructure is really great, and the campus is spread over 44-acre area. Our college has 2 campuses one in Bidholi and another in Kandoli. My campus (Bidholi) is for Engineering, Design, Health Science, Computer Science.
- The college provides many opportunities for learning, coming forward and showcasing your talents through different events, clubs, fest etc.
Dislikes
- The classroom environment is lacking, with basic school-style desks and a 60-person capacity. As Computer Science majors, we only visit lab once a weel, despite needing computers for every class forcing us to bring our own.
Admission:
I applied to multiple college and even got selected in VIT,JAYPEE and all but due to some personal reasons my parents decided for me to stay in Uttarakhand. UPES being the most reputed college here with a good placement i decided to go here.
There are multiple admission criteria here like board merit, cuet merit, jee merit , sports kota or simply but funding the college. You can fill online form and later the offer letter will be given. Or you can go offline and complete the admission process without any delay.

Its in between 2 mountains. I personally like quite places and its up on the hill. And there aren't many option for doing aerospace Engineering so i choose this one and the vibe is cool as compare to other universities.

If you are considering the main SRM campus, you don’t need to hesitate. The campus is quite good. The faculties might not be great, but there are departments where they are found to be standard.
The hostels however are not quite up to the mark, so you can opt to search for a PG. The student crowd is quite impressive. You will be among talented peers. Also, SRM has a standard placement record.
Additionally, the other bonus point is that this institute is one of the most known private universities all through India. VIT, Manipal, BITS being the other three, while Thapar RVCE and so on follow straightaway.

If you want to go for Mechanical Engineering, then you must go to SRM Sonepat. It is due to the fact that UPES is good basically for Petroleum, Aerospace Engineering and a few of the CS Branches, while SRM Sonepat can be a good choice for mechanical engineering.
