Established in 1983, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam University (SPMVV) is a women’s university. Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), SPMVV was started in year 2000 and currently offers PG, PG Diploma and Diploma under various specializations.
SPMVV DDE offers selected postgraduate courses in the field of Science, Arts and Commerce. In addition to it, the university offers PG Diploma programs in Family Health and Counseling, Pre-School Education, Application Software and Public Relations. The duration of all the PG courses is 2 years while PG Diploma and Diploma courses are of 1 year and 6 months duration, respectively.

SPMVV Distance PG Admission 2024
At the postgraduate level, SPMVV offers MA, M.Sc, and M.Com. Admissions to PG course are done on the basis of performance of candidates in 10+2 examination. Provisional admission will be granted after verification of the attested photo copies of the certificates enclosed with the application. All candidates must produce their original certificates for verification either personally at the DDE, SPMW or at the study centers.
Candidates have to choose any convenient study centre at the time of admission. If a candidate wants to change the study centre, the DDE will arrange the same on the basis of mutual consent of both the study centre & candidate. Transfer to the desired centre will be performed on payment of additional fee of INR 500.

SPMVV Distance PG Diploma & Diploma Admission 2024
In addition to PG courses, the university also offers PG diploma in multiple specializations and Diploma in Music. Candidates are shortlisted for Diploma and PG Diploma courses on the basis of the academic merit i.e. performance in the qualifying degree examination.

SPMVV Distance Education Registration 2024
Candidates seeking admission can download the application form from the official SPMVV website. While filling the application form, the candidate is required to mention clearly the desired course of study and year admission into the Directorate of Distance Education.
Application fees of INR 350 can be paid online at any branch of Andhra Bank. Fees can also be paid to the DDE through a Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of "The Registrar, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati", payable at Andhra Bank at SPMVV, Tirupati. The candidates are advised to write their address on the backside of the Demand Draft.
Following documents have to be enclosed with the application form:
- Attested Copies of Degree/Provisional Certificate of the Qualifying examination passed.
- Degree/equivalent Marks Memos.
- Migration Certificate.
- Two copies of recent photographs (one to be affixed to the application and the other to be enclosed).
- Crossed Demand Draft (Original).
- Certificate of proof of date of birth.
- Aadhar Card/PAN card
- Three address slips duly filled-in are to be enclosed.
