Ques. Is MBA (HRM) at CSIBER a standalone programme or part of a dual specialisation MBA?
Ans. MBA (HRM) at CSIBER is offered as part of the MBA General programme under a dual specialisation model. Students choose HRM as one of their two specialisations and pair it with another area such as Finance, Marketing, Systems, Production, or Agri-Business Management. This dual specialisation approach makes graduates more versatile and attractive to employers across multiple functions.
Ques. What kind of HR-specific subjects are covered in the MBA (HRM) programme at CSIBER?
Ans. The curriculum covers core HR subjects such as Human Resource Management Concepts, Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Labour Laws, Organisational Behaviour, and Industrial Relations. These are complemented by ability enhancement courses (AECs) in communication, digital tools, and foreign languages, as well as generic electives that broaden the student's management perspective.

Ans. Yes, the fee is the same across all MBA specialisations at CSIBER. The FRA-approved total fee for the 2-year programme is Rs. 2,64,000 (Rs. 1,32,000 per year for AY 2026-27), comprising tuition fee and development fee. There are no management quota or NRI seat fees. Hostel charges are separate and optional.
Ques. Does CSIBER provide any practical HR exposure during the MBA programme?
Ans. Yes, through the College2Corporate initiative, MBA students are placed in real organisations for one full day every week throughout the programme. HRM students gain direct exposure to HR departments, including recruitment drives, onboarding processes, payroll systems, and employee engagement activities. Additionally, the HR student club at CSIBER organises workshops, guest lectures by industry HR professionals, and inter-college HR events.
Ques. How does the MAH-MBA CET 2026 admission process work for MBA (HRM) at CSIBER?
Ans. After appearing in MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2026 (exam dates: April 6-8 and May 9, 2026), candidates register for the Maharashtra CAP counselling process (expected July-August 2026). Based on CET scores and merit, seats are allotted through CAP Rounds 1, 2, and 3. Candidates accepting allotment must report to CSIBER with original documents and pay the fees within the deadline. All India Candidature applicants can use CAT/CMAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT scores instead of MAH-MBA CET.
