For B.I.D. Part I (Direct Entry): Candidates must have passed H.S.C. (10+2) from Maharashtra State Board or equivalent board of any state. Candidates who have passed 10+2 in any course in Architecture, Interior, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Building Supervisor, Architectural Assistantship, or similar courses recognized by the Technical Education Board, Maharashtra or equivalent are also eligible.
For B.I.D. Part II (Lateral Entry): Candidates with a Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture, DCE, DEE, or DME of 10+3 years duration conducted by the Board of Technical Education or any other Government-recognized authority of any state are eligible. Candidates who have passed H.S.C. (10+2) and completed a full-time Interior Design Diploma (10+2+2) or equivalent course are also eligible.
Admission is based on 50% of 12th standard marks and 50% of the entrance examination/interview.
