Shridevi medical college review

Likes

Good teaching environment and the faculties are well trained.
Good sports facilities and extra co curriculum activities
Nice infrastructure with proper transport facilities

Dislikes

Every branch and course is included in same place
Still have to be developed when it comes to campus
Sometimes unnessecary events will happen in campus

Admission:

Since it's a medical college it depends on ranking and the choice is based on marks so every college will be okay if we get but it's better other clgs compared to this college in many aspects and still need to be improved

A sneak peek of my college

Likes

The campus is very clean and well maintained
The teaching faculty is very cooperative
The hostel rooms are clean and well maintained

Dislikes

We don’t have alot of culture activities
The attendance is very strict and are compulsory required to maintain 75% attendance
We have classes on Saturday till 1pm and sometimes it goes upto 4pm during the community medicine classes

Admission:

The infrastructure and teaching faculty is what made me choose this college I did apply to other colleges in Bangalore like ms ramiah and BGS medical colleges but couldn't get in there because of thd high cut off The eligibility exam for my course is NEET in which one is required to score a minimum of 600+ marks out of 720 to secure a government seat

Likes

There is high focus on academics of the student
There is good infrastructure provided by college for all kinds of activities
Girls to boys ratio- around 3:2 in every batch

Dislikes

Mess food is not good on many days, other than that everything is good

Admission:

I applied for mostly Bangalore colleges and colleges in haryana, Delhi and rajasthan I couldnt get any Bangalore college from Bangalore in which I tried for bgs, bmc, akash, ms ramiah etc because my neet ug marks were lower than cutoff So I chose simsrh tumkur I got eligibility through neet ug in which I had scored 545 so I was able to get this college

My degree life

Likes

Good faculties and resedents.with Highly enriched lab facilities.
Good patient exposure and good cadaver input .
Consultants are highly experienced and they are students friendly and they motivate us a lot.

Dislikes

Fests are less and senior junior interaction is less.
We are unable to bunk the classes and little strict when compared to other colleges
Hostel is strict and we lengthy prodecure to go out and intime is less

Admission:

Definitely yesss...i choosed this college over other college bcz other colleges i don't think this much of patient input will be there.. as a medical student patient exposure is very very important soo i choosed to join this college than any other colleges.

I liked the atmosphere here its so good and classrooms are also clean and tidy campus is also not that bad you can see canteens and greenery
Hostel food would be good in the morning and aftenoon
Hostel rooms are too good and washrooms are well cleaned

Dislikes

Afternoon lunch where chapathis are not good to eat
Teachers are not upto mark they teach just to finish syllabus
Playground is not there and balls will not be provided by collage

Admission:

I got this collage in kea so no regrets its good but when comapred to other collage its campus is not good food rreally not good and when it comes to teaching its not upto mark where teachers only complete syllabus

Hostel facility is available within the campus
Tumkur is a good and smart city and no traffic problems.
Fees is comparitivily less compared to other private medical colleges in Karnataka

Dislikes

Too small compus which comprise of all courses like BPT , nursing etc
Hostel food is not so good especially for North Indians
Not so good infrastructure and play grounds

Admission:

• I applied for all the colleges and according to the marks and ranking Shridevi medical College was allocated to me. • I didn't prioritise this college in any means. • yes I applied for all top colleges in Karnataka but due to low marks and rank I was not allotted to that college. • Admission process is through NEET. As marks and rank ratio will be different for each year . For Karnataka students below 80000 ranking you will get government seat for sure. And category like 2a , rural Karnataka, HK quota students it may vary it may go upto 90000. For private seats below 145000 ranking your you will get a seat.

The admission process was fine and easy, the only entrance exam in India for MBBS is NEET. There is a cut-off for eligibility for NEET that varies from year to year. There is a certain amount of seats reserved for reservation quota.

Entrance is through the NEET exam application process is quit simple we just registered at the KIA at Bengalore then we have to report to the collage and submit all the required documents at the collage and them we have to submit a fee to the KIA
