Course Description
Interested candidates have to fill out an online application to apply for MSRIT Bangalore. The stepwise application procedure is mentioned below.
- Go to the official website of MSRIT.
- Click on the Apply link available at the end of the home page.
- Now fill the form of the desired course with all the essential details.
- After filling, submit the form and take a printout of the same for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate who has passed 10 + 2 pattern of examination (equivalent to the two year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at MSRIT.
- The eligibility for admission is 45% in case of General Category and 40% marks in the qualifying examination in case of SC/ST, Category-1 and OBC Category candidates. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less for the required aggregate percentage for the purpose of determination of eligibility (and not for the purpose of determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).

I got admission to this college through KCET quote.So my college fee is much affordable compare to COMDEK quote students. My yearly fees of about 120000 rupees per year which includes lab fees, tuition fees and others. For COMDEK quote students yearly fees of about 2lakhs.

Our college fees are 230000 through comedk. And it is 89000 through Kcet. Management fees are around 700000 for Chemical engineering and it varies with the branch you choose. I don't receive any scholarships from the college.

Even though the fee is 220000, it's worth every penny because of the lab facilities and the college environment. There is a fee hike now, I am not sure how much. But I felt they could have done some fee relaxations during a pandemic.

Basically fees in our college increases every batch wise (4 years). My fees was 217360. We need to pay whole amount at at time, which is bit difficult for everyone. It would have been better if it is been like 3 or 4 installments. Scholarship is totally for Karnataka students. There will be no scholarship for other state students ,what I know may be we have but I've never seen that for other state people. As I from Andhrapradesh.

The fee structure is decided by the govt for students from CET but management seats are costly and it's costly for comedk students as well for general students I don't think any scholarship is available except for the alumni scholarship which is a merit based scholarship which amounts 10k per year. The scholarship opportunities are bad. There are no campus jobs that can be found in the college. Or there may are very very few.

We students have applied for various scholarship but none of them didn't reach us still. Hoping it might reach us son and hoping for the best. Scholarship I have applied MhrD Scholarship Arivu Scholarship.

The college offers scholarships mostly based on caste. So anyone willing to apply for a scholarship and get one must provide their caste certificate and their grade sheet every semester. Anyone availing the scholarship will get a good amount every year.

Yes, loan and scholarship facilities are available for students those who come from a poor financial background they can benefit from this, if for SC/ST student scholarship is available, for minority too they even provide alumni scholarship.

The gokula scholarship and alumni association scholarship are the ones I have heard of.Any news about scholarships can be enquired in the respective department of the students .Education loans are provided by the neighbouring Vijaya bank ( Now bank of Baroda).

Our college have an alumni association which provide scholarship. But unlucky us, the students admitted through COMEDK don't get much scholarship opportunities. There are many options for students coming through CET.
