A students perspective on BNCA pune : campus life and learning

Likes

Faculty members are experts in their field with lot of experience and knowledge
Facilities like workshops , national and international tours arranged by college
Allows exploring other areas also like sports and different workshops for students

Dislikes

The college is only for women and this does not provide interaction with men and can be difficult when we are out in industry
College does not have a big campus , ground and basketball court are common for all college in the perimeter

For this particular course practical knowledge and practical application is required for which every college lacks, assignments and other things are required and that's okay but giving experience to students on actual field is required

Likes

Some faculties are good at teaching and friendly behaviour
Good infrastructure and facilities at the campus

Dislikes

Lack of management by the staff about the academics as well as other things
The teaching techniques are so basic , only presentations are read out in lectures
Partial behaviour of faculty towards students and rude behaviour

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

How Bnca as a college rocks ????

Likes

Experienced and highly qualified faculties are their to guide you. Most of the faculties have completed their PHD. Their are collaboration with lot of international colleges which help us with our communication skills
You can anytime go and interact with the principle and any other faculties. We also have facilities like 3D printers , robots and laser cutting machines.
Apart from academic we have a huge event which is known as nexus which goes on for a whole week where we have lot of fun.

Dislikes

There are not much things which i dislike about the my college but their are some things like all the facilities they provide have their own different fees. These fees are not included in the annual fees we pay.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a challenging course but it is also a holistic profession which includes equal amt. Of technicality and design eq which makes it a bit challenging. But it helps you with development of your skills and also helps you with personality development. You can achieve great heights in this course if you really are passionate about this field or else it will overtake your life and will make it more challenging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of my dad as he's builder I want to support him, and passion of becoming an architect. Instead of learning in class go on site it would be more easy to grasp. We have enough time for our exams.

We traveled to a lot of places , had new experiences and learnt many new things. Teachers in our college are well qualified and knowledge

Dislikes

Placements or internships opportunities are not so good . This is college is expensive and has lot of investment making process
College is pretty much strict about attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel there's a need of this curriculum to be revised, sometimes I feel few things we have in our curriculum are unnecessary and few which needs to be included, inspite having submissions , we also have to attempt exams and also with very less time for preparation

The College is good in academic criteria. But the drawbacks are it is expensive and has lot of intvestment making process College doesn't help in students with general group for any fee structure And the infrastructure is okay.
