BN College of Architecture

The College is good in academic criteria. But the drawbacks are it is expensive and has lot of intvestment making process College doesn't help in students with general group for any fee structure And the infrastructure is okay.

The Curriculum is according to Pune University. But the teachers try and the make the academic more fun by visits. Exams structure is Jury and written + drawing exams as expected in architecture. It is relevant and help better understanding Juries help us to learn to present ourself as we need to present our designs to clients when we get into real world

I haven't availed any internship yet. But the college gives us the list of internships. And then we are judged according to our internship portfolio's and later we are called for the internship.

We have a annual cultural event NEXUS held for one month every year. It is quite big event and we participate in all types of extra curricular activities, games, dance, fashion night, flea market and drama. All the students and teachers both participate in the event and us always a grand success.

My architecture program fees is 1.5lakh. The college accepts all types of banking payments like RTGS, Cheques or Dd No there aren't any additional charges for dbt addmission. The college provides the transperency in fee breakdown during the addmission process itself. I really find it expensive as for people coming from outside it becomes very difficult to manage fees.

I have opted for a education loan. I had to give my fee Structure and entire estimate of my course during the five year tenure. With hostel fees and mess charges. The government avails some scholarship program for girls with dbt admission. But it really doesn't help for students in open category like me. There are scholarship available according to annual family income.

It's is a girls college so gender ratio doesn't really matter here. The campus is quite good and has all aminities available like canteen, sports club, singing club,dance club,poetry clubs, plus all sports like badminton, kho kho, football, gymnastics, indoor sports and athletic and basketball

Yes I stay in a hostel. The college hostel has very small rooms and the food isn't really good. The hostel seats are also limited and already has girls from seniors classes. In them. But the area of the college has lot of better private hostel options or pgs to go for. Most of the girls prefer private hostels only

Seniors are quite connected and alumini are alos always in touch with college if we need them anytime in college Seniors bond well and understand the problems we face with faculties and guide accordingly It really helped me getting better scores in the course

Architecture is a very vast and tiering course. I wanted to go into a creative field so I chose architecture. It is so far the best college in pune for girls as it is a girls college. But has Excellent academics and extra Curricular activities like international workshops. For Admission process, U first give Nata examination and state board examination. U will get ur cummulative aggregate from the same score. From there accordingly u fill dbt form and choose college u get from that score This college takes maximum seats as per dbt dbt and 20 seats through management If u have scored well it will be very easy for u to get into this college

There are a lot of faculties in our college. Tentative could be 80-100. Most of them are PhD holders in various subjects. We have a greater experienced faculty as well as we have younger faculty so that we don't stick to conventional systems of architecture Yes all lectures hold architecture related experiences Teachers in particular subjects havevdone masters in the same and always helps us to think in better way
