Academic excellence: bmsce is renowned for its academic excellence, with a faculty comprised of highly qualified professors who are experts
The scholarship is applied to all students who can make use of it and it can be applied by caste certificate campus selection is good in college and the campus is too cool and eco-friendly.
The computer labs, the canteens, the greenery, the cleanliness, the faculty, the clubs, the enjoyment opportunities as well as the academic opportunities. the college also provides a lot of opportunities to study abroad for masters degree

Dislikes

The hostel facility is really bad they have only one hostel inside campus and other 4 are outside the main campus
Tuition fess is ok but it can be reduced because kcet people have half the fees than comedk.there is no scholarship present for comedk students, campus provide very good faculty in few streams and few bad faculty in bad.
Curriculum was really bad for us as we were the batch who joined after corona thing so it was very disturbed so many postponements took place students got really stressed and they protested too .

Likes

I loves the campus and its vibe which is very chill
There is one or the other fest which is happening at college which deosnr make it boring
There are all kinds of co curriculars where we can show our talents

Dislikes

The first years have been put into another building which is not connected to the main campus
I feel the campus is a little small compared to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel that the curriculum is a bit outdated. We still study about all the chemistry , physics and all as computer science engineers whereas what we need is real life problem solving skills. So it would be better if the curriculum was modified

The campus life is better than many colleges in Bangalore
Better opportunities for sports and other co curriculums.
Many clubs and societies are also there to participate

Dislikes

The campus size is very very small(10-12 acres).
They have the most delayed academic session
The academic management is a bit poor according to me

Course Curriculum Overview:

The internal exams happens every month. Best of three internals are considered. The attendance criteria is 85%. The teaching methods are pretty decent in this college. Also we have 3 labs per week so we also get to know the practical aspect of the subjects.

positive aspects of campus live and social interraction
faculty enterprise and mentorship to each and every student
placements,internships and career development

Dislikes

subpar infrastructure,such as poorly maintained canteens
limited internship oppurtunities and industry networking
outdated syllabi often hinder learning in the academics

Placement Experience:

students typically starting eligible for placements from 5th or 6th semester. Top companies come for taking interviews and give an average package of 9,00,000 rs per annum The exposure and training here are instrumental in shaping my career

I liked the quality of the crowd in the campus along with kind and helpful teachers who are chill most of the time unlike typical engineering college teachers.
You can make new friends and also find a peer group which often matches with your interests and vibes.k
The placements are decent enough considered a reputed private engineering college and the curriculum is quite lenient when compared to other colleges like PES,RVCE and etc.,

Dislikes

The campus size is quite small but you can have great time with your team around the campus.
BMSCE hasn't become University yet , even being autonomous institute it's curriculum might contain some vtu hectic activities.
The Freshers building could be improved as it hasn't all the utililities as that of the PJ block.

Placement Experience:

The placement data of 2024 was as follows: AVG PACKAGE: 12LPA MEDIAN: 8 LPA HIGHEST: AROUND 45 LPA PLACEMENT RATE: AROUND 66% Yep , the ration can be increased but a well amount of students opt for higher studies and some for startups.

Exposure to companies and the outside world apart from pure academics
Services provided on campus be it related to food or any other convenience factors
Research opportunities provided, the RnD Department is really active

Dislikes

Small campus size, the buildings are tall but the area is quite small
Uncertainty about exams and schedule of semesters sometimes
every process is through orthodox paper method, could be switched to online mode

Placement Experience:

Students are allowed to sit for placements from the end of their sixth semesters about 150 companies have visited an more than 500 offers have been made. highest package: VISA 42 LPA, Role: SWE About 80-85% of students from ECE/AIML/CSE/ISE get placements I have a job offer already, I'm looking at MS options now

My college has got good infrastructure .
Our class timings are flexible not much of only academic part to be considered.
There are various fests and events happening in the college.

Dislikes

Our campus has got a less campus size compared to other colleges.
The intake is increasing every year in comparison with the campus size feels crowded.

Placement Experience:

5th semester students take up the internship exams provided by the companies and whoever qualifies gets into internship at the end of 6th semester and for the placement 7th semester students are eligible. There are multi companies visiting our campus . Highest of 2024 was 33L CTC for 4 students from ECE given by Atlassian Company . almost 80% students gets placed every year.

Campus life is amazing, you will get exposure to people from all over India and also cross functioning with other peers is extremely beneficial
Faculties are approachable and have good qualification
Placements are great, they provide internship and placement training to maximise ohr placement experience

Dislikes

Campus infrastructure as it is under construction

Course Curriculum Overview:

They follow NEP and the courses are AICTE verified. They follow both the guidelines. Boolean system is followed for correcting answers. The questions also follow Boolean system The curriculum is up to date and is prepare by experts in the subjects

the college campus is good for socialising with different students from different branches.
the college has air conditioning and clean washrooms.
the library of the college is good and has alot of books

Dislikes

the placements are pathetic and the college hardly helps students with placements
the lectures do are not well trained and are always confused.
the college management is like government office,they delay small jobs.

Placement Experience:

the students get eligible for placement from 6th semester.the companies visited were Deloitte, dell, ibm, itc, infosys and many more but they hardly took anyone.students of aiml were not selected as they were not aware of the deposit due to colleges negligence of not adding the aiml branch under computer science branch.the students who got placed scored 70%. i started free lancing for multiple companies

College campus is very small,the ground is also small
Exam,s valuation is strict and the marks are not given so easily
The sports complex is very small and that much sports cannot be palyed

From 3rd semester the students become eligible for campus placements . I am not familiar with the no of offers made but I can tell you about the companies:amazon, Mercedes Benz,volvo etc Highest package was 50 lpa last year
