There is no entrance examination for B.com(Hons). It is purely based on your class 12 board exam marks. There are different cut off marks for CBSE, ISC and WB board.

I undertook B. Com (Hons) at St. Xaviers College because I wanted to do a professional course in finance Chartered Accountant. And what better combination - B. Com from St. Xaviers College, Kolkata and CA from ICAI. I scored 70% in the 3 years honours course. The reason for choosing St. Xaviers College, Kolkata is that it was and still is the best college in Kolkata.

There was an application process and no entrance examination. It is one of the best colleges in India for commerce and extra curricular. The college has a great faculty team and the best crop of students.

Indian School Certificate Examinations (ISC) New Delhi .I scored 85% plus and opted for this college due to its excellent faculty and already established reputation.

There is no criteria such as entrance examination. A student just have to get required percentage in his/her 12th boards exam (Depends upon board) and then a personal interview is taken.

This college is best known for its Commerce Stream of Studies -both Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate. In fact it is consistently ranked among the best in India. Moreover, for students doing Chartered Accountancy (C.A.) course simultaneously along with Under-Graduate studies.

The college is good although it can be a bit better if the infrastructure of the college is imroved a bit. Also the exams must be made yearly rather than semester wise. But still its a dream college for every student.

There was no entrance exam for the college. It was based on the merit of marks obtained in class12. Interview process is very brief where dean and vice principal meets the student.

The College management is very friendly. They do help out the students whenever we need help. They are the backbone of the collegee. Many of them are highly qualified. The College management is extremely approachable for the students and even their parents during designated visiting hours.
