ST Xavier's Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement cell of the institute provides ample opportunities for the students to showcase their talent to different companies. Mostly around 80% of the students get placements. The Average package was INR. 6 LPA and more than 5 companies offered above INR 10 LPA. The highest package was offered by D. E. Shaw of INR 21 LPA. Many recognized companies like L&T, Zomato , Deloitte, wipro , ICICI Bank, Infosys, HDFC Bank, etc. were part of it.

The placement percentage of our college is quite high around 50%. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 1.2 lakhs per annum and the highest salary offered is Rs. 6 lakhs per annum. The average salary offered is Rs. 3 lakhs per annum. According to my opinion, the average salary is decent but it should be better. NGOs should come and give internships to the students.

The placement cell of the college creates a platform where students can showcase their talent to the companies. Companies visited in the previous year included Google, Infosys, zomato, ICICI, Asian paints, Delloit and many known companies. More than 650 students were recruited through the placement cell. The average package was Rs 6 lacs PA and the highest package was Rs 21 lacs PA more than 7 companies offered above Rs 10 lacs PA.

The students of Semester 5 and 6 are eligible for Campus Placements. The companies visited are. ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Google, Larsen n Turbo and many more. The percentage of students getting placements is 90%. My plans after getting the degree are being placed in a top-notch company and aside that I can prepare for my MBA.

Students become eligible for the placement from the last semester i.e semester 6. There are various companies that visit the campus including various MNCs. The highest package of the campus was 22lakhs and avg. the package is around 5-6 lakhs. My plan after getting the degree is to pursue CA.

St. Xavier's College will always be the first college that will come in mind when one thinks of the best college providing the course in eastern India and the first reason for choosing it has been it's immense brand value. My second reason was the highly qualified faculty of the institute.

Saint Xaviers College is the best commerce college in Kolkata so there was no point leaving a seat in Kolkata Xaviers College, Kolkata if you have scored 90%. Moreover the brand value that gets added to the CV is second factor and not to forget the placements that happen here where they give decent packages to BCom people especially.

I was attracted to the curriculum and the college infrastructure. The college faculty is also very good. I heard about the college a lot since it is best college in kolkata. I liked the location of the campus also as it is located in the centre of the park street.

It has a great brand name and is a very prestigious college to be associated with in this city. It is also a very well known fact that students graduating from this college have excelled in their respective fields.

St. Xavier's was my dream college and i wanted to be a part of the prestigious Xaverian family. The college has good infrastructure and other facilities such as wifi, hostel etc, amazing faculty, placements, various societies and fests were a reason I preferred this college.
