St Joseph's College Devagiri Calicut Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I choose this course on personal interest and I have heard devagiri have very good bcom course where the faculty and department is great and supportive. They provide all the classes using all the modern developments like computers and projectors.

Cambus selection conducted by Zifo, Acceture, Federal bank and Esaf bank. No arrears for the applicants. They were selected after aptitute test, group discussion and interview.Out of 18 from our class 5 are selected to zifo, 4 are selected to Accenture, 1 to federal bank and Esaf selection process is going on.

My cousin was already studied in the same college st Joseph's College devagiri but the course was different.. that time always i would imagine if I was studied then I studied about the course and the psychology impress me so I choosed that course students are very vibe Teacher method was good but sometimes their behaviour was not good for me Iam just pass in first year and then I studied properly

Placements are provided in the college and premium firms participate in them. SIB, Federal Bank etc. Are few of them. The firms are reputed and a huge number of students have been employed every year. The college has a quite efficient employment cell too.

There are campus placements in our college to different companies, banks etc which includes South Indian Bank and do other companies. A good number of students get placement each year in banks, Wipro etc. But these are mostly areas related to commercial, accounting related area which has no effect on people in our course since it is more of a research-oriented or education related course. My plan after my degree is to apply for MSc genomics at the Central University of Kerala through the CUCET exam. So these placement calls have zero importance for me. (FYI: I already got admission to CUK for MSc genomics).

Campus Placements are offered in the final semester of each course. Besides that, there are a number of opportunities for students after this course in the college. Most of us opt to go for a Postgraduate Course in the same subject or a related one. Some pursue their career by attending coaching classes for public exams like SSC, PSC, Bank Tests and Civil Service Exams. There is an active Civil Service Coaching Class provided by the college on the campus itself so that aspirants could find their way in that field at a very early stage. There are also career opportunities in content wiritng, article writing, teaching and similar jobs which students undertake after their course.

From the 6th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Infosys, South Indian Bank, Federal Bank are companies that visited our college. Most of the students get the placement. My plan after completing my degree is to pursue my CA coaching.

The college has placement tie up with leading companies like Wipro, Infosys, Federal Bank, and many more and they possess a good amount Salary, students can take part in the placement process from the 5th semester onwards. I have planned to do my PG after completing my degree.

Because this was most famous college in my locality and also this college provides good education and also this college gives more importance to academics so we can get a good result from here. The admission was held in month of June 2019 at that time there is an interactive section between the faculty and studentsand also the google website's helps in my admission by providing certain informations. But I noticed a bad thing that the fees is slightly more than other colleges because of this the middle class people face a difficulty in paying such a huge amount.
