GEC Kozhikode B.Tech Admission 2025
GECK provides B.Tech and Lateral Entry courses at the UG level in 5 different streams. One needs to have a valid KEAM score or equivalent state-level/national-level examination score for admission in B.Tech. The application is to be made online through the official website of GECK for payment of INR 800 (INR 400 for SC/ST) as an application fee.

B.Tech Lateral Entry
Eligibility:
- Candidate should have passed a 10+3 diploma in engineering with at least 50% marks in the second and third year from a recognised university.
- Diploma holders with 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST) are also eligible for admission to the 3rd semester (regular full-time batch) engineering degree course (B.Tech.) under the lateral entry scheme if they pass the Entrance Examination held for the lateral entry scheme by the state Government.
- These students need not clear any earlier papers of the merged first and second semesters. All the candidates under the lateral entry plan shall be admitted.

GECK accepts applications for a 2-year full-time M.Tech course from the qualified candidates in 4 different streams, i.e. Signal Processing (AE&I), Energy Systems Analysis and Design (ME), Computer Aided Process Design (Ch.E) and Structural Engineering. A valid GATE score is required for admission.
Selection Criteria:
- Candidates need to have a valid GATE score for admission.
- Candidates will be shortlisted through the Centralised Admission Procedure (CAP) and considered for further admission process by the university purely on a merit basis.
