Hostel mess is good out here and you will get a good food
Hostel rooms are good single occupancy and double both are available
Last year placement are good almost 100% ROI

Dislikes

Undeveloped area is one of the disadvantage
Network connectivity is disadvantage for college
Monthly exams are also not so good for daily learners

Placement Experience:

College placement are good but this year is going a little bit tough as compared to last year because of the market conditions and layoffs company are doing last year highest was 20 LPA and average is 12.5 LPA.

Likes

MDI-M places a greater emphasis on practical learning and classroom activities rather than extensive reliance on textbooks, a feature that I find particularly appealing. The institute also boasts a high Return on Investment (ROI).

Dislikes

MDI-M is situated in a rural area, offering relatively less exposure compared to other locations. Despite the proximity of Kolkata and Darjeeling, the need to travel for better exposure is a drawback for me. However, if you enjoy traveling, its good.

Placement Experience:

Following the third term, students become eligible for summer internships. Post the internship, the final placement process commences with over 50 companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Last year, the highest package reached 20 LPA, the average was 12.67 LPA, and the lowest was 8 LPA, resulting in a 100% placement rate. Upon completion of the course, my aspiration is to pursue a career in the fields of finance and business analysis.

Placement Experience:

After 4th term most companies start coming, and almost 120+ companies visit the college campus, the highest package is generally around 16-17 LPA and lowest is around 6-7 LPA, and the average is 9-10 LPA for all. Almost every student got placement as per the previous year And the record is improving too.

Placement Experience:

The campus is decent with an average CTC of around 11lacs. Companies like ICICI dominate and act as mass recruiters. The highest package this year was from ICICI Lombard 19Lacs approx. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Airtel, Gartenr also visit the campus.
