What Students Say
Likes
- MDI-M places a greater emphasis on practical learning and classroom activities rather than extensive reliance on textbooks, a feature that I find particularly appealing. The institute also boasts a high Return on Investment (ROI).
Dislikes
- MDI-M is situated in a rural area, offering relatively less exposure compared to other locations. Despite the proximity of Kolkata and Darjeeling, the need to travel for better exposure is a drawback for me. However, if you enjoy traveling, its good.

Candidates from any field can apply for MDI Murshidabad, but they must initially take the CAT exam, aiming for a score of 80+ percentile. The MDI website provides information on the application form, fees, and application dates. Selection is based on merit, with no reservations. The interview process went well, and there are no areas for improvement mentioned.

MDI-M follows a single-round admission process without a group discussion or written test. Candidates are shortlisted for a personal interview based on their CAT scores. The interview typically lasts 15-20 minutes and includes questions related to situation analysis, knowledge acquired during graduation, and some general knowledge inquiries.
