Management Development Institute Murshidabad (MDI Murshidabad) is a standalone private institute whose campus area spreads over 10 acres and was established in the year 2014. MDI Murshidabad offers a 2 years residential Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme that has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management and Supply Chain Management are the various specializations of the PGDM programme.
MDI is the first business school in India with international accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) in the United Kingdom in addition to an A-grade accreditation for their flagship academic program.

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was approved by the MHRD and launched by the Honourable Minister of Human Resource Development on 29th September 2015.
