GNIT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the end of the third year, students are eligible for Campus placements. Popular Tech giants like TCS,Capgemini, Accenture, Genpact, etc companies are visited and approximately all students are got an offer. The highest Package is around 10 LPA and average packages are likely 4-6 LPA. From my department, around 80% of students got placement in many MNC. My plan is to get a good LPA job on campus after that to prepare myself for Govt engineering exam.

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th Semester, the first company which arrived was Infosys. There were many companies that visited this college like - Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Hexaware, and many others. Around 50% of students from my class got placed, placement was low because of Pandemic. After my degree, I will Work for TCS.

More than 80% of students of CSE and IT are placed. If you can grab good knowledge of coding then you can also be able to get a job. Many IT companies come every year to hire students like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Knoldus Inc, Nagarro, Blue conch, Cognizant, Epam, Tech Mahindra, Persistent systems, etc.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There were several companies that visited, like Capgemini hired almost 40 students in 2020-2021 from our college. The highest package that was offered was 4.5 LPA by Amdocs, and on average 3 LPA can be an assumption. 50-80% of students get placed. I'll do the job I got in Nagarro on-campus.

From the 6th Semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Wipro, Mindtree, Byju's, etc have visited our campus over the years. Most of the students who sit for placements get placed. My plan is to get a job.

Apparently, placements are good here. Top companies like TCS, Capgemini, Accenture and many more come to recruit students from our college, students are offered different packages. The average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA to 4 LPA.

Companies start coming after the 6th sem i.e., in the final year near June July. During my time most companies that came were IT. Some were too good, like., Capgemini, mindtree etc. The core companies visit very little. The package of IT companies is around 3.50 - 4.20 LPA. Most of the students get placed from the IT CS branch. If you are good at coding you will be placed, regardless of any branch.

After 3rd Year students are eligible to sit for placements. Most companies visited the campus are core for CSE/IT branch means...coding knowledge must. Many companies like ITC Infotech, TCS, Cognigent..etc.. I'm looking for higher studies.

After third year, Company visit the campus for all students but mainly focus on students who knows languages like (c, c++, java. etc ) and only hire in software firm. Not for Electrical domain any company visit the campus. And later many companies visit to hire in sales profile.

The placement in GNIT are average. Since, JIS Group organizes a pool campus selection, where you need to be very lucky to get placement from the company. The campus placements are eligible in the college from the 4th Year. Before that, internships are given from the college, which trains the students. Capgemini is the major recruiter in this college, where the major students from CSE and ECE departments gets placed with the average package of 2.5-3L. Even the companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCS, HCL, Deloitte and small startup companies come to take placement from this college, but the package is very low. Off placement is recommended as a student. Even various marketing companies like Byjus come with the highest package of 13L. Amazon used to come earlier but it stopped after 2018. The percentage of students getting placement is 87%.
