GNIT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Very good teaching faculties who are very friendly. There are many faculties and 120 students from each stream. Most faculties are doctorate and teachers very well. Semesters exams are taken on time in June and January.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campusing. Companies such as TCS, CAPGEMINI, INFOSYS, IBM, WIPRO, AMAZON come for recruitment. Students from all departments get placements from different on campus companies. Usually, the count of students getting recruited varies.

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester onwards. Capgemini and Deloitte are top recruiters. Students also get places in TCS, Wipro, Cognizant etc. On average 60% or more students get placed every year though placement basically depends on self-performance.

I chose the eletrical depertment because i was good at science and the core stream can nurish my career in the best drection for me. I alwasys wanted to be an electrical engineer, and moreover eletrical is used in every field. The faculty was good at teaching and they helped me accuring my knowledge best way possible. Qualification of the facalty was excellent and they helped in esvery way possible.

After the 6th-semester candidate becomes eligible for campus placement. generally, companies visited are TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc. package range lies from 1 lakh per annum to 4 lakh per annum. Almost 60% of a student placed in our batch. People also opt for M Tech and Mba after completing B.Tech

Haven't had our placements yet. We are going through pre-placement training by our college and scouting internship opportunities brought forth by our training and placement cell. But, I know a lot of seniors who got placed into nice companies. TCS, Cognizant, Mind Tree, HighRadius, Cape Gemini, Tech Mahindra being top recruiters.

TCS, Wipro, Capgemini are the major recruiter from this college and they offer good salary packages starting from around 3-4 LPA till 12 LPA and varies from it. For the 21 batches, the placement was less as compared to other years, but amidst the pandemic, the placement of the CSE department was around 75%. But the other departments had very few placements and other startup companies were a part of this placement. Overall you need to be very smart and good in studies to get a placement from this college.

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Top class companies like WIPRO, TCS, INFOSYS visited. 80% of students get placed and all 20% of students go for higher studies. My plan is for higher studies.

Placement is upto the mark till date. The placement cell is very well connected with various companies which results various on-campus drives frequently. Like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys these companies are connected with placement cell of GNIT.
