To be eligible for a hostel room the candidates must have been admitted to the SRCC. The final allotments of rooms at SRCC hostels are purely on the merit of the marks obtained in the Qualifying marks.

What are the Cancellation Charges of SRCC?

If the admission of any Students is withdrawn the students must Cancel their hostel admission the students will get a refund amount of INR 5,000 after deduction from the total fees paid by Candidates. However, actual mess expenses, electricity, and water expenses are to be paid by candidates.

Merit & need-based scholarships like [your scholarship name] & financial aid exist to help.
The faculty is completely qualified with a lot of experience and expertise , has really good teaching skills, clears all the doubts and interacts with the students, is gentle and friendly with the students.
Srcc has like the best placement's in the whole of du best companies hishest-35 lpa average -10-12 lpa package i don't really plan to take the placements and go for higher eduaction for mba or data science

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not great as we thought and its not good as compare to the colleges like iit and iims
Hostel seats are limited. many students have to opt for pgs
Unavailability of lack of hostel facilities is a point of difficulty for me since a major part of my time is spent travelling to and from the college.

The Sports Complex is the charm of SRCC , being one of the best thing
AC facility is a must in summer and SRCC provides the same

Srcc - the global choice. But why?

Likes

The faculty, there were some incredible professors who were enthusiastic and open to discussions with students. Most lectures in economics are interactive and much like a discussion than a lecture.
The infrastructure, facilities and amenities. Everything is very convenient in SRCC that you won't leave college although your classes for the day is done.
Sports complex in our college including gym. Evenings in college is such a sweet memory. Ive learned basketball, badminton and dodgeball within the 3 years of my graduation.

Dislikes

word about peer pressure in SRCC is not an overstatement at all. It gets to you
One might feel Srcc has an overly competitive atmosphere
Since there are very few courses offered. You miss out on your chances to interact with every kind of students from different domains.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement students can start sitting in their 5th semester onwards. More than 100 companies have visited the college for placements this year. Highest package offered this year was around 35 LPA. Average pack offered is almost 15 LPA. Even companies like Blackstone, Deloitte, HSBC and other top 4 companies and startups have visited. I'm planning to pursue higher education in economics itself. Hence I did not sit for placements.

SRCC is know for it's placements . The average placement package is 8-9 lakhs pa. , with a highest placement of thisbyear 47lakhs pa. Campus placements statsbfrom thrid year. But campus placements opportunities is provided from 2nd year.

A honest review

Likes

Infrastructure is amazing in the campus. The red bricks literally have something special in them and are so attractive. This campus gives a feel same which we watch in movies .
Other best part is the exposure we get in the campus.
The course i am studying is quite amazing and interesting as well as technical

Dislikes

The group of friends is so common and these groups even separate very quickly
The hectic schedule of 8:30 in morning to 4:00 in evening
Internals , assignments and practicals all come on same time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good and technical and interesting. The atmosphere in SRCC is studious and motivates to study. Also we were to give 3 sets of exams in one year. It was quite hectic but, yeah we survived!

SRCC has diverse crowd which makes me curious to know about other cultures
Great peer learning are great. top students comes here so we got to learn to many things from the peers
Faculty of SRCC is great. all the teachers are well known and experienced in teaching

Peer pressure is there. every student is too studies
Campus is smaller as compare to students which are there
Most of the time we have to spent for the society

placements of shri ram college of commerce is good . highest package of shri ram college of commerce of last year was 35 lakhs per annum. highest. internship of last year was 2,2 lakhs per month. many companies comes for the placement and the internship are paytm zomato meesho gartner deutshe bank etc. and for intership hindustan unilever lim. and deshaw& co. EY nomura and many more. i have not commitment but i am considering to go for higher studies of economics

Just an Honest Review of SRCC, DU, Hostel, Delhi...

The thing I like the most is the life in hostel. People here come from many parts of India which makes you curious to know about other cultures
The teachers here are very knowledgeable and really make you understand the concepts really well.
The life in North Campus is just something else. Late night strolls outside college in winters are just amazing.

Dislikes

The sports complex of SRCC closes around 5 and the ground closes around 7 which is really frustrating
My experience with most of the people from Delhi itself has not been that good.
Delhi is a fast city. If you don't move fast enough, you'll be left behind

Placement Experience:

The placements of Shri Ram College of Commerce are one the highest in Delhi Univerisity. For the session 2023-23, the highest package was 35 lpa, average package was 10.15 lpa, median package was 8 lpa and the gross placement value was 51.6 crore. There were more than 100 recruiters from more than 15 sectors, including McKinsey & Co., BCG, Bain & Co., Kearny, Accenture, Delloite, JP Morgan & Co., etc. with more than 500 offers. The Placement Cell also launched an initiative of assissting people with special abilities to secure placements and interships. As of now, I have not settled to what I am going to do after graduation.

Reality of SRCC

Likes

Forest scenery and view of the college overall.
Classrooms teachers are very helpful for me.
I like the way people help each other and behave.

Dislikes

Hostel could be better with good ac facility
The people are very toxic sometimes leading to problems
Better organisation of class timings and everything.

Placement Experience:

Good placement opportunities. Maximum is around 44 lakhs while minimum is 4 lakhs with an average of 10 lakhs. Almost all students who sit for placement get placed one place or the other. There is a lot of scope here.

The teachers were helpful in all aspects and we're my guide.
The opportunities here are limitless .
The hostel facilities are one of the best.

Dislikes

The hostel could have been better in its way of handling issues.
The college could have been more structured in a better way.
The students here are sometimes toxic, which is a problem.

Placement Experience:

The students are offered placement from 3rd year. Companies like HUL, Blackstone, Morgan and Stanley, etc come for placement. Highest package is arround 44L CTC but average is 10L. Almost all the students who sit in placement get placed.

An Srite's experience

Sports complex is indoor , sauna bath room , gym , physioroom and medical room is also tgere.
We have the best library , fully digitalised system ,
Administration is best , faculty members are very nicely teaching .

Dislikes

There ia a nerd ambience here , you'll feel peer pressure.
The interal question paper ia hard compared to other colleges.
Strict attendance policy unlike other du colleges.

Placement Experience:

Srcc's placement is the best in Du , highest package offered was 46 lcs this year , placement is currently happening only , the least paclage which i saw last year was 6 lacs the average package was around 10 lacs . Students are eligible for placement from5th semester , thats is , 3rd year. Name of the companies which came and offered placement include McKinsey , Deloitte , Black salt , HUL ,Zomato , etc. Almost everyone gets placed . Im planning to go for masters in economics after the undergradation . I'll try to get into DSE or Mse or ISI or any other good college.

SRCC: Dream or Nightmare

Great overall exposure you’ll meet people of all diversities
Great placements as I said high number of placements
Affordability is great here because it is a student focused community

Dislikes

Drug culture is a big thing here so one must stay cautious
The rat race is absolutely crazy it gets really wild
People can be very toxic so one must think before making friends
