Remarks:

I analyse about college previous year placement and how well they are growing in India and in international levels. Part from this I also see about college reputation. I also see about their faculty of the college. Co curricular activities carried out in college that will help in building student skills should be another reason for me to choose the college.

Remarks:

The bad remark of the college would be there is a lot of hierarchy the teachers do not facilitated everything you need to ask everybody for events taking a small steps in the colleges if the committees are there in the college that not that you are useful because everything is accountable you are too much accountable for everything what you do this wouldn't what is not have that was authorities and power to perform so it's ok as per the academic it's not that great the opportunities are less when you see the final placement can you please. Also fine not get date and if you see on investment ratio it's bad trade.

Admission:

I did B.com in my graduation, and since then I have been interested in management courses, seeing the cut throat competition, I choose MBA as my post grad, so that I could fit into the corporate sector even better. I choose my institution, seeing the well qualified faculties, alumni, Placements, campus and of course the location. The very first thing which needs to be done for admission into a B-school is appearing for competitive exams such as - CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT etc. So for my college, I applied through my CAT score. Now for the admission process, the institute follows a rigorous procedure, which starts when you clear the merit list, by scoring a standard percentile which the institute decides, if you appear in the merit list, you’ll be called to appear in the next process which is GD, extempore and Personal Interview. I appeared for my admission process in the year 2018, in the month of March.

Remarks:

IMI Kolkata is located at the heart of the city. There is proper transportation and communication facility. The college ranked 45th in NIRF ranking of MBA colleges in India. It boasts of state of the art infrastructure, library facilities. On the academic front, the college possess qualified faculties. The batch strength being 189,divided among 3 sections, the faculty:student ratio is satisfactory, where each student gets attention. One of the guiding path to choose the college is its curriculum. The subjects that are taught are very much industry oriented and they are updated as and when needed. For any MBA college what stands out eventually is the Summer Internship and Final Placement. IMI-K,since its inception, has a placement record of 100% .Eminent companies visit the campus for placements. The PGDM course brings out the absolute corporate skills needed to thrive in the ever dynamic business world.Regular grooming sessions serves the purpose. These are few of the factors why I chose IMI-K and the course.

Remarks:

The college is good and has all the making of a great college but the administration and the placement cell needs to ensure that the number of students they let in are quality students and ensure better placements and internship offers. The college needs to branch out into other fields like operations and Human resources.
