I once visited the campus of Great Lakes Chennai and I knew right then that it was going to be my dream college. I also looked up at the Gurgaon campus and it was clearly visible how the infrastructure of the Chennai campus was way superior to that of the Gurgaon campus.
The Chennai campus is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city in a serene location around 60km from Chennai. This beautiful campus spreads across 27 acres and the tranquility can be felt by all nature lovers. I am attaching some pictures that will do justice to the beauty of this campus

The pictures alone cannot testify to the campus's beauty so it's recommended you visit it once.
Ultimately, both campuses offer equal opportunities and education the only difference lies in the infrastructure and quality of campus life.

Since its establishment, Great Lakes be it Chennai or Gurgaon has been delivering premium quality management education at par with recent industry trends.
As per the official rankings, Great Lales Chennai ranked 31st among management institutes by NIRF 2023 and 11th among private colleges by IIRF Ranking 2023. On the other hand, Great Lakes Gurgaon was ranked 62 out of 125 colleges by NIRF in India in 2023 and it was 52 out of 125 colleges in India in 2022.
However, these rankings are highly transparent and misleading. Either the ranking parameters are not credible or the institutes refuse to participate resulting in exaggerated figures. So it's best to talk to alumni to get a better picture and don’t just rely on rankings.

The average package offered to the top 10% of students during BIMTECH placements 2023 stood at INR 15.86 LPA whereas Students placed with Top 10% of the average package at Great Lakes Gurgaon was INR 14.40 LPA .so in terms of placement, BIMTECH PGDM core is better.
Since you have work experience an executive MBA program would better suit your career goals. Hence, you should go with the Great Lakes PGPM program. The placement figures are also better for the PGPM program at Great Lakes compared to TAPMI’s regular MBA program and the duration of the program is also lesser (1 year).

Many prominent recruiters like Accenture Strategy, which offers a package of around 32 LPA, and Tiger Analytics, which provides a package of 18 LPA visit the GLIM campus. If you have time to do a two-year MBA program and are fresher, then you can join SCMHRD MBA.

Taking a student loan is always a better option. After graduating from college, Education loans help you save taxes during the job career. Go through the interest percentage at which the loan will be disbursed and take calculated steps while taking a loan.
NMIMS Bangalore is better than Great Lakes Gurgaon PGPM, and Great Lakes’s Manipal campus is only better.
The other campuses at Great Lakes are still in the growing stage, so I would suggest you not to choose them. Instead, you can opt for NMIMS, the faculties there are experienced, and they have industry exposure as well, plus you have a location advantage. Many companies have their offices in Bangalore, so it would be easy for you to grab a placement there. NMIMS also has a great student culture from various clubs and committees you can groom yourself.

TAPMI is better, as it offers you a great campus life. The crowd is suitable to make connections and you can really groom yourself, plus TAPMI has a great culture of clubs and committees so that you can learn actual management skills.
TAPMI has very good faculties and their curriculum is also appropriate as per the industry requirement. The placements offered by TAPMI are better than the others, many big companies like Accenture, Deloitte, Ford, TATA visit the campus for placements.
SIBM Bangalore, TAPMI, and Great Lakes PGPM are top Indian business schools with distinct capabilities. Your job goals and choices determine it.
SIBM Bangalore has a robust curriculum, skilled instructors, and a focus on practical learning through case studies and industry interactions. Many top companies hire from the institute. Students have several internship and business engagement possibilities in Bangalore, a hub for top corporations.
TAPMI is a top business school with rigorous academics, skilled faculty, and excellent industry contacts. Many top companies hire from the institute. TAPMI is in Manipal, Karnataka, a university town that fosters study.
Great Lakes PGPM, is known for its academic curriculum, experienced professors, and creative programs. A unique 1-year program at the institute gives students the skills and knowledge they need to excel in the fast-changing corporate environment.
It's up to you to decide what kind of return on investment (ROI), brand value, and/or location/career convenience you need from your business school. TAPMI and Great Lakes provide comparable average packages (between 11 and 12 lakhs per year), but SIBM Bangalore's average is lower, at 9 to 10 lakhs. Great Lakes Chennai is the best option out of the three because it has the most appealing combination of affordable rates and a well-known name brand. When compared to SIBM Pune and Great Lakes, TAPMI and SIBM Bangalore both fall short.
