Ques. Is the Diploma in Advertising and Brand Communication at AAFT suitable for someone from a non-commerce or non-arts background?
Ans. Yes, the programme is open to students from any stream who have completed 10+2. The curriculum starts from the fundamentals of advertising and branding, making it accessible to students from science, commerce, or arts backgrounds. Ques. What is the difference between the Diploma in Advertising and Brand Communication and the Diploma in Event Management at AAFT?
Ans. The Diploma in Advertising and Brand Communication focuses on brand strategy, campaign planning, copywriting, media planning, and digital marketing. The Diploma in Event Management focuses on event planning, logistics, budgeting, and client servicing for events. Both are offered by the School of Advertising, PR and Events at AAFT, and students can choose based on their career interests.
Ques. Will I learn digital marketing as part of this diploma?
Ans. Yes, Digital and Social Media Marketing is a core subject in Semester 2 of the programme. Students also work on a Social Media Strategy Planning project as part of the coursework. The curriculum covers digital advertising, account planning, and creative strategy, giving students a strong foundation in both traditional and digital advertising.

Students work on 6 real-world projects including New Brand Identity Ideation, Customer Journey Roadmap, Designing Posters and Visiting Cards, Startup Launchpad Ideation, Planning a Social Media Strategy, and Compiling and Printing a Coffee Table Book. Past student projects have included campaigns for brands like Virat Kohli, Rock Music Festival, and Diljit Dil-luminati Tour.
