Great college for making your college life more happening

Likes

Trained and knowledgeable faculty is the best thing about this college
I can definitely consider the campus is main highlight of the college as it has maximum greenery and lawn facilities
Extra curricular activities are there and there are interesting days for students which includes traditional day, dj night and dance and concert events.

Dislikes

The average package was not that great and placementscould have been better for civil and mechanical faculties.
For mechanical and civil faculties there ratio of girls to boys is quiet poor. Like there were 15 girls and 50 boys in a class.

Admission:

I applied to several colleges like Coep, Dypiemr and pccoe. But i choose dypiemr as my college because of parameters like college campus, placements and teaching faculties. However everything was perfect except the placement. There is some hope of improvement in terms of placements

Likes

The faculty is very much supportive and energetic
The college staff is also much supportive and helpful

Dislikes

The mess cantin is very durty and unhigenic
The food us not good and there is less variety

I had opted for D Y Patil college due to the reference from the seniors the really helped me and for growing my self . I had also opted for the MIT wpu but due to high fees i didnt apply . I had also filled form in Garda College khed Which is the vollege in my hime town . So above are the college for which i had applied

Likes

The infrastructure is better than most of the colleges.
The availability of books in the library and the politeness of the staff
The activities and the freedom given to the clubs to organise functions is best

Dislikes

The companies for placement hire students from not their background
Not enough canteens in the campus with a variety of food
There is no proper sports happening in the college only once a year they keep matches

Admission:

This college had a better placement percentage of the students getting placed than the other colleges. The infrastructure was better with a PHD staff. The learning and the environment felt better than the other colleges I had applied.

Likes

The college campus is really very nice and big .The infrastructure is worth the hype and the college celebrates most of the festivals keeping our culture alive.
The college has various cultural , technical and social clubs that can help you grow especially the clubs of mechanical brach are commendable.
The college has a really big ground and almost 3 to 4 canteens all provide good food also college is surrounded by numerous hostels this helps the outsiders to get a good hostel at a walking distance from the college

Dislikes

The college does provide placements but the number of students getting placed is low as the college campus has one more engineering college and the students in that college are given more preferance during placements
The college doesnt provide a good budget for the fest. Also it funds only limited clubs the cultural club is not much supported and funded. The students have to fund their own clubs which is the worst part
The college faculty is also not that good some professors are nice but not all of them there are only few faculties which give good guidance to the students .

Admission:

I have taken admission by qualifying the cet exam by 93 pecentile . The college gives admission through cet exams. The admission process is through CAP round if ur score is above 93 for girls and for boys the cut off is around 94 percentile and reduces according to category. If ur alloted with the college u have to pay full fees alloted to your category if you dont have the required category documents you will have to pay the full fees at the time of admissions . If u get the category documents after you have paid the whole fees the college returns u the remaining fees after submitting the documents

A Pretty Underrated College

Likes

DYPIEMR has a pretty good college campus comparing it with other colleges in the city. The campus is pretty big so we have a lot of space for leisure activities and we have 3 college canteens.
The attendance is not a big issue, even you don't meet the 75% criteria and you just crossed 50% you can still sit for exams and get good internal marks only keep good relations with the faculties.
Clubs in the college are pretty much active around the year. The cultural club takes part in various competition about every 2 months. Plenty of opportunities from astronomy, communication skills to placement related stuff.

Dislikes

Few faculties aren't that much interested in gaining the attention of the class while teaching. They are undoubtedly experts in their respective fields, but few fail to engage the class and make the lecture a bit boring.
Holidays are a bit of a problem for me as the college has almost 1 month of year break and 15-20 days of semester break. However, this is controlled by the university itself.
There is no specific official college hostel facility of the college. Although there are many good hostels around the college area, but college doesn't provide anything so.

Admission:

To get into the college you have to write MHT-CET(PCM) and score a good percentile as the cutoff for general students for tech branches was 95 for CS, 93 for AiDs, 91 for Entc. The cutoff for the other branches was comparatively lower. For Females and Category students, the cutoff is lower ranging from a difference of 0.5-10 percentile based on the category and branch. One can also apply for admission through JEE Mains. The admission process is, that you just have to fill out the CET Cap application and fill in the college names you are interested in. If you have been allocated my college then you just have to visit the college and verify your identity submit the important documents and pay the fees. The process is almost 2 hours long.

Admission:

You can get admitted in DYPIMER via MHT-CET exam JEE-Mains Management Quota eligibility criteria is that you must score above 70% aggregate in PCM or PCMB in your class 12th, must qualify MHT-CET and score a qualifying cutoff (2022 years cutoff was around 94 percentile), you can check the cutoffs at college's website and at MHT-CET official website, you can also get admitted by qualifying Jee mains examination,(cutoff was around 85+ percentile). You can find the application forms at offficial website. MHT CET is conducted once a year(May) and JEE Mains is conducted twice a year(January&March). You can avail reservation benifits and TWFS wavier scheme if anf only if you have enrolled through MHTCET admission process. DIfficulty level of MHT-CET is moderately difficult maths being the hardest. Focus on question solving and improving speed of answering.

A better college other than any DYP (Average Engineering college)

the crowd which i found is really what i like

First you need to score above 90 in CET exam if you want technical branch, The admission process is completely organised as per the rules of Maharashtra government, seats are alloted on merit basis, you can also get admission through management quota but it costs way much high, You can also get admission on the basis of JEE score One can apply through mahacet websites ones admission starts, typically admission starts after the result of CET examination,

Admission:

I applied for the mcet examination and I got a good rank in that examination. The question level was easy to moderate and after getting the rank card I applied for the cap round of the counseling process. In the counselling process, I was selected to be part of this college and the particular branch was allotted to me. Within a few days I completed the payment procedure and my document verification was held on campus. The staff were very cooperative they guided me properly. After few days my classes started.

If you are hard worker then DYPIEMR is the place for you.

Likes

You will get good exposure if you are serious candidate then you will learn a lot.
Alumini network is strong, They are arranging guest lectures every week.
faculties are supportive.they will groom you nicely for placements.

Dislikes

There is only one common playground for 8 to 9 campuses
Need lots of improvement in placements mostly for civil and mechanical departments most of the companies coming are looking for sales profile
No proper management for events that takes place in college.

You have to appear for MH-CET to get into this college.There is seperate CAP round procedure for both 12th CET candidates and Diploma candidates,For Diploma Candidates your final year aggregate percentile will get considered.I have applied through my diploma percentile. Cut off for diploma general candidates is around 83 percentile in the year 2019.If you clear the cut off then you will directly get admission in this college. Admission process is smooth, if you are reserved category student you will get lots of benefits.There are few managment seats also. you can contact college for that.

Neat and tidy canteen area and good food taste.
Fests are greatly entertaining and make us learn many things
Faculties are very supportive and strong

Dislikes

Number of lifts as compared to students are less
Library only Offers 2 books per week For First Year students
No network in the basement areas of college

Admission:

I gave an entrance exam MHTCET for admission. I got admission in mechanical engg through TFWS quota which provided me a 100% scholarship. Admission process was quite smooth. Accounts section was a little clingy but was fine.
