Ba(hons) economics in maitreyi college,du will cost our Rs.13,000-16,000. in my first year i paid around Rs.12500 and during second year fees rose to Rs.13500, most of the fee is divided for development student welfare funds, some is kept for tution fees, development fees is included in the fee structure, there is no additional charges as such. Although every one has to pay to same amout of fee whether genral or SC/ST. There is student welfare fund and scholarship for the student of low economical background. There is no major difference in fee structure for BA (H),Bcom (H), BA prog as such , fee stays between Rs.13000-16000 but the science courses usually have a higher fee and their major segment is lab fee, their avg fee is between Rs20000-25000.

Yearly fees for my course were 7 to 8 thousand rupees, yes it increases by 200-300 rupees every year. And I am not sure about the scholarship details. But the students from SC/ST quota were paying less than the general.

My course is for 3 yrs and in 1st yr i paid 10,000 then in 2nd yr i paid 11000 and for 3rd year i paid 12000. It was increasing by 1000 every year. Any other extra fee they take is for examination form which is 1000- 1500, every semester depending on different subjects. Fees for every catefory among my batchmates is the same. A lot of scholarship programs are available for people from weaker sections but i don't know much about it as I'm not eligible.

I'm currently a second year student of B.A History Hons at Maitreyi College, University of Delhi. Expected Graduation in 2027. I read other reviews what I found is that they are outdated since a lot has changed and I could experience the differences myself since I study here. Location:- Maitreyi college is located at one of the most safest areas of delhi that is Chanakyapuri which is an embassy area. Nearest metro station is Durgabai deshmukh South campus and Lok kalyan Marg. About College:- Maitreyi college ranks 14 among du colleges and 29 in All over India Ranking. The faculty is very helpful and friendly. The seniors are always ready to guide you. College societies are a must to join. Maitreyi college boast of its fashion society Galore which has been regarded as best fashion society in du. The Western dance society Zeal consists of highly talented girls who can make anyone their fan. I did the mistake of not joining any college society but in may 2024 joined NSS and I must say it has been very exciting journey till now so if you're someone who loves extra curriculars, social activities they are best for you. The campus is very spacious with a number of gardens. You will fall in love with the campus it's so pretty. The classes have been renovated with new comfortable desk. The canteen food is up to the mark at very affordable prices with numerous options. The college has even constructed it's new hostel with around 85 seats which is comfortable and safe. The Annual cultural fest “Rhapsody” 2024 with Arjun Kanungo has been a hell of experience. I have thoroughly enjoyed my first year in Maitreyi. Also speaking about "Rhapsody" 25 with Aastha Gill also was an amazing and crazy experience in 2nd year, college also offers very high placements too along with numerous internship opportunities for students. so the fee that i paid for this course of mine was 13000 rupees per annum . but as per the rules as the years increases the fees increases slightly . the fee variation is there for the reserved categories but not much . apart from the fees there is not any amount that you need to pay throughout the semester but you do have to pay the examination fee which would be between 1200 to 2000 depending on the course and year . i personally am is not aware about any kimd of scholarship programs in college.

Fees and Financial Aid:

During the time of my admission in 2023 i paid around Rs 11500 for the BA PROG. In 2024, total fee was 12855. Below is the breakdown of the fees university student welfare fund-250 university development fund- 1200 university facilities and service charges- 1250 ews support university fund- 200 tution fee- 180 college student welfare fund- 3994 college development fund- 1763 However, recently college is refunding 550 from the fee. There is also extra examination form fee excluded from the overall fee. Each semester students have to pay for the examination form fee which is 1100 for BA Prog course. Foreign students have to 21780 addition to the above fee. PwBD fee for UG is rs 155. The college awards fees to meritorious students to the extent of 20% of the total fees. The college also provides exemption of tution fee to all sc and st whose parents income is below taxable limit. Delhi University holds competitive exam for the award of Rs 250 per month.
