Maitreyi College Admission Process 2026
Given below is the step-wise admission process of Maitreyi College .
Step 1: Register for the Entrance Examination
Maitreyi College admissions to all UG & PG courses are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. To apply for admission, candidates must register for the following entrance examinations:
Candidates applying for CUET must select Delhi University while filling out the application form. Additionally, they must choose subjects for which they have appeared or qualified in the last qualifying exam.
Step 2: Appear for the Entrance Exam
Candidates who filled out the application form must appear for the entrance examination as per the schedule.
Step 3: Registration on DU CSAS Portal and Filling of Courses and College Preferences
Candidates who have qualified the entrance examinations register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for the DU seat allotment. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill in their college and course preferences.
Step 4: Seat Allocation
The seat allocation for all courses will be done in multiple rounds. Delhi University is going to release the merit lists in two categories: Common Merit List and Category 2 Merit List (for PG courses only). The Common Merit List (CML) is open to all candidates. However, for the Category 2 Merit List (C2ML), only students who have graduated from Delhi University will be considered for admission to PG programs.
Step 5: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission
- Upon declaration of merit list, candidates can check the list by logging in to their CSAS dashboard for acceptance of the allocated seat, if offered.
- Once a seat has been allocated to candidate in a particular round, the candidate must 'Accept' the allocated seat before the last date/time in a given time period.
- Once the candidate accepts the provisionally allocated seat, the college administration will approve the seat allotment by checking the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate. Upon approval of the seat allotment by the college, candidates will have to pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.
